Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce the fall release of both the second episode of Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony - exclusively for download on Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network, and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, which will include both episode one The Lost and Damned, and episode two The Ballad of Gay Tony together on a single disc exclusively for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
"Liberty City is the most vibrant game world we've created yet. The episodic structure has allowed us to interweave stories, gameplay and atmosphere in a whole new way," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. "The team at Rockstar North have yet again surpassed themselves, and made something that is both epic and very innovative. This episode's focus on high-end night life contrasts with the biker gangs portrayed in The Lost and Damned, whilst giving us a lot of new gameplay possibilities."
Grand Theft Auto IV's second downloadable episode, The Ballad of Gay Tony injects Liberty City with an overdose of guns, glitz, and grime. As Luis Lopez, part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince (aka "Gay Tony"), players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price.
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City delivers two games on one disc - the all-new episode The Ballad of Gay Tony and the first episode, The Lost and Damned - together on disc for the first time - for Xbox 360 for $39.99 and will not require a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play.
The Ballad of Gay Tony will release on Xbox LIVE this fall for $19.99 or 1600 MS points and requires players to have Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE membership to download.

How does this work, do you select the DLC from your mobile phone?
Surely this is MASSIVE (unless I'm misunderstanding) - I presume if you don't own the original game, you would only be able to play the storylines relating to the DLC, but essentially they're releasing a cut-price, scaled down version of the main game.Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City delivers two games on one disc - the all-new episode The Ballad of Gay Tony and the first episode, The Lost and Damned - together on disc for the first time - for Xbox 360 for $39.99 and will not require a copy of the original Grand Theft Auto IV to play.
Why on earth anyone would buy the expansions and not the original is quite beyond me, but does this bear potential to mean we could be seeing multiple editions of the same game, much like deluxe edition albums?
I'm sure quite a few PS360 owners who bought GTAIV on the PS3 would be interested! Why on earth anyone would buy the expansions and not the original is quite beyond me, but does this bear potential to mean we could be seeing multiple editions of the same game, much like deluxe edition albums?
The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned will be released on a disc for retail on 29th October. Naturally, you can also just purchase off of LIVE Marketplace.

Last weeks awesome trailer (now embedded!)
Todays new trailer
One month to go, looking forward to it.
New screens from Team Xbox:
Nah, this DLC sounds great!
It's just the same old, same old though. Making it bigger and bigger doesn't make it better. GTA has become the new Sims, it's the same shit just rehashed... OVER IT.
Holy shit, like Tekken 6, I forgot this was coming out... on the 29th!
You can buy it standalone on Xbox LIVE (Lost and the Damned is also on there for 1200 MSPoints) or you can buy the retail Episodes from Liberty City on disc.
Haven't seen any reviews yet.
GTAIV: The Ballad of Gay Tony gets a 9/10 from EDGE and GamesTM.
I didn't realise that is was coming with new tv shows and radio stations (80's! )
Here is a trailer released today of one of the new shows, Princess Robot Bubblegum, looks like Sailor Moon mashed up with Macross Plus hentai haha
Multiplayer looks like fun too

IGN AU: 95
IGN UK: 92
I'm so pleased its getting AAA reviews, I bought Episodes from Liberty City today and sat with it for a few hours and it is *so* much better than GTA IV. So is The Lost and the Damned for that matter. The 80's radio station is ace.
What do you think? Rockstar certainly have a knack for creating likeable characters.
I really enjoyed slapping the shit out of the 'Celebinator' (ie Perez Hilton) in the helicopter above the Statue!
I've only played for five-six missions or so. It's a great add on.
I love the new clubs. Mostly due to fucking in the toilets
The explosive shotgun and sticky bombs are fantastic to use around the city with cars and pedestrians. Throw a sticky bomb at a passing motorcycle and detonate it when its almost out of sight for lulz.
