    TWO-DISC Sinitta Greatest Hits, anyone?

    God bless Cherry Pop...

    EXCLUSIVE! Sinitta 'Greatest Hits' Details!
This September sees the release of Sinitta's long overdue and eagerly awaited debut official UK greatest hits album. Taking the title from her 1989 smash hit single; "Right Back Where We Started From - The Hits Plus Collection" is a comprehensive anthology of Sinitta's recording career from 1986 until the present day.

Every hit single is included along with some new recordings and some very rare and never before released mixes and songs - including those much-talked-about Stock Aitken Waterman-produced Sinitta tracks currently on our own audio player!

The forthcoming double CD album has been fully developed by PMG Music and is being released by Cherry Pop Records in association with Sony Music Entertainment. Each track has been fully digitally remastered directly from the original master recordings and the entire album has been painstakingly researched by the same team who brought you the Lonnie Gordon, Mandy Smith and Princess Cherry Pop re-issues earlier this year!
Always the best place to find out the exclusive news first, www.pwl-empire.com is now pleased to be able to give you all FIRST LOOK at the tracklisting for this very-special project!
After reading what's to be included we are all very confident that you won't want to miss out on this amazing CD release!

Oh yes that'll do nicely. They could have found room for Cruising I agree. I Don't Believe In Miracles is pretty darn wonderful, but it is on there three times.

The Greatest Hits 1986-2009 is quite a MISLEADING title, no?

I suppose 1986-1988 doesn't have quite the same weight.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHATSOEVER TO LEAVE OFF "Cruising" and I'm FURIOUS as a result

It was a SINGLE. Why isn't it on there? HMMPH

I'll still get it for the remastering, though...DEFINITELY. But STILL
It's been too long, it's been too long...

Might be worth emailing the people involved. They seem VERY responsive to fan feedback based on the other remasters they've worked with...

Where does one do that ?

I feel a CAMPAIGN coming on

Seems ridiculous not to have all her singles in one place...

If you try iain@cherryred.co.uk and name@pwl-studios.com, they might be able to pass you on to the people who are working on the records. I imagine so, anyway.

The Kim Wilde ones which came out through Cherry Red only went to print very close to the release date so I imagine unless there are mitigating factors it would be entirely feasible for 'Cruising' to make the cut.

Maybe Sinitta could be convinced to address this injustice in her ENDLESSLY FORTHCOMING 'Who Put The Sin In Sinitta?' autobio?

I'm yet to receive a response, despite me claiming that the inclusion of "Cruising" on the forthcoming Sinitta Greatest Hits (TWO DISC VERSION) was as "Important to mankind as water"...

Now out on 19th October. The CRUSADE FOR CRUISING seems to have come to nought, as it doesn't appear on the tracklisting on play.com. Still, she is looking a foxy thirtysomething on the cover:

If it's on Cherry Pop, I can't imagine it's expected to sell. They don't often get into actual shops, do they?

I'm sure Sinitta with her prime time exposure will break the Cherry Pop mould.

Bless them. I see they are bunging out two Dooleys albums on CD now too.

    Well THAT'S getting ordered tonight

Mind you, I think the Brotherhood Of Man ones were on that subsidiary label, and they are incredibly sloppily done

So this is out on Moday. I'm somewhat drawn to it but would I ever play it? I guess it would be ok to have the occasional work out frenzy to Sinitta.

  32. #32
I think listening to this in its entirety would actually KILL ME

And not in a GOOD WAY

I know you're not ALLOWED to SAY IT but apart from SO MACHO she really was quite RUBBISH

Yes the Nightingale. I'm not a fan but other half LOVES HER. I was listening to MOTLEY CRUE and such like back when Sinitta was QUEEN OF THE UK POP CHARTS (You see? I have no clue!).

However, it's a trip away, a four star hotel for free (you think I would pay? For Sinitta?) and I think she will be good, in an amusing way of course. I do think she's kind of fabulous on some sort of low level.

Are you staying at the Malmaison? It's my favourite place to stay for a night at Nightingales

I don't know that one, but from the name it sounds nice!

We're in the Holiday Inn near Hurst Street. Other half has executive membership of the chain so we get one of those 'club rooms' or whatever they are called, on the top floor etc etc....

Of course I am only going because I will be seeing Sinitta.

Oh yes, I nearly forgot the...

    SORRY
