NOW I'M JEALOUS
It's the truth, it's a fact, I was gone and now I'm BACK...
Amazing quote from the new American Dad episode
Roger (the alien): "I'm changing the name of this island to BANANARAMA, and your national anthem is, VENUS."
I WISH![]()
Hey i'm Mollie, i love being a Saturday!! I love New York, going out for breakfast, Jack Wills, Gossip Girl and Nissan Figaros!
I hope its 'Love Don't Live Here'![]()
Well that would be great too.
I am quite undecided about which would be the best single choice. Love Don't Live Here, The Runner, Dum Dum Boy and Seventeen are my favourites from the album, so any of those I'd be happy with. They apparently like Extraordinary so that may be in the running too.
DRAMA vs VIVA
Move In My Direction vs Love Comes
Look On The Floor (Hypnotic Tango) vs Love Don't Live Here
Waterfall vs Rapture
Frequency vs Seventeen
Feel For You vs Twisting
Don't Step On My Groove vs Tell Me Tomorrow
Middle Of Nowhere vs The Runner
I Love The Way vs Extraordinary
Love Bite vs Dum Dum Boy
Rules Of Attraction vs S-S-S-Single Bed
Your Love Is Like A Drug vs We've Got The Night
Move In My Direction vs Love Comes
Look On The Floor (Hypnotic Tango) vs Love Don't Live Here
Waterfall vs Rapture
Frequency vs Seventeen
Feel For You vs Twisting
Don't Step On My Groove vs Tell Me Tomorrow
Middle Of Nowhere vs The Runner
I Love The Way vs Extraordinary
Love Bite vs Dum Dum Boy
Rules Of Attraction vs S-S-S-Single Bed
Your Love Is Like A Drug vs We've Got The Night
6-5 to Drama it is.
Move In My Direction vs Love Comes
Look On The Floor (Hypnotic Tango) vs Love Don't Live Here
Waterfall vs Rapture
Frequency vs Seventeen
Feel For You vs Twisting
Don't Step On My Groove vs Tell Me Tomorrow
Middle Of Nowhere vs The Runner
I Love The Way vs Extraordinary
Love Bite vs Dum Dum Boy
Rules Of Attraction vs S-S-S-Single Bed
Your Love Is Like A Drug vs We've Got The Night
7-4 to Viva, my favourite song from Viva though is 'The Sound Of Silence' oddly, closely followed by Love Comes, The Runner, Love Don't Live Here and Rapture.
Can't be bothered highlighting SO
LOVE COMES
Look On The Floor
RAPTURE
Frequency
Feel For You
TELL ME TOMORROW
THE RUNNER
I Love The Way
Love Bite
Rules Of Attraction
Your Love Is Like A Drug
Odd, cause I feel like I like "Viva" better...
It's the truth, it's a fact, I was gone and now I'm BACK...

Waterfall vs Rapture
Frequency vs Seventeen
Feel For You vs Twisting
Don't Step On My Groove vs Tell Me Tomorrow

I Love The Way vs Extraordinary
Love Bite vs Dum Dum Boy (difficult...but the latter has such an amazing intro. AHAHA)
Rules Of Attraction vs S-S-S-Single Bed
Your Love Is Like A Drug vs We've Got The Night
Pretty equal. I prefer 'Viva' as an album, but think 'Drama' has better high points.
Really into 'Tell Me Tomorrow' and 'The Runner'. The former reminds me of the feeling you get at the end of summer. No idea why though.

Is this album good then?
Still not got it yet
Suppose it's worth it for "Love Comes"
Well you could always go for the obvious - black tights, white stilettos, PVC miniskirt and dance around your handbag which has in it a family size bottle of dandruff shampoo
That was the photocall for Women Of Rock.
The NANAS were ace at Women Of Rock, by the way. They did Robert De Niro's Waiting, Venus and Love In The First Degree and got the whole crowd dancing. It was with a live band (not their live band, but one that was used to back all the acts), which was quite fun.
I hear your voice, it's like an angel sighing...
Have only really heard 'Love Comes' recently.
I thought it was a continuation of the Pixie Lott album that was being played to me whilst on holiday. At first I didn't believe it was Bananarama and they were just taking the piss. Slowly I came round as I gradually recognised the vocals more and more.
Not bad considering I thought they were has beens.
And then they played 'The Runner'.
I then hyperventilated as I was missing the original TD's version from my music collection. *Rectifies asap*
Well in advance just so you can mark this momentous event in your diaries, the Bananarama Ready Steady Cook appearance is on 19th January on BBC2 at 4.30pm.
They are also apparently going on some kind of Chicago Rock Cafe tour to promote the next single.
What is the next single?
It's the DANCE MIX of "STARTING TOGETHER" we've ALL BEEN WAITING FOR![]()

It's the truth, it's a fact, I was gone and now I'm BACK...
After seemingly an eternal silence, from the Fascination twitter:
Listening to wicked new mix of the next Bananarama single! News after Christmas!
They are ALL missing the point really.
Hey i'm Mollie, i love being a Saturday!! I love New York, going out for breakfast, Jack Wills, Gossip Girl and Nissan Figaros!
Do we have any DATES for this Chicago Rock tour?![]()

Their fourth comeback? Really? Surely only TWO count...and they've never actually SPLIT UP yet either.
I'm of a mind to send a STRONGLY WORDED MISSIVE to the BBC about that clip.
Not about the Nanas, Im sure they don't GIVE A SHIT really but the fact that they let DAVID VAN DAY go anywhere NEAR a position as a "voice of reason"
I DON'T THINK SO
It's the truth, it's a fact, I was gone and now I'm BACK...
Now I missed the lower half of the chart. What UTTER CUNTS, they must be hard up for people as the NANAS are hardly on anyone's radar just now.
And COUNT ME IN if they ever do another tour. They were fabulous when I saw them on that 80s revival thing back in the day, with Culture Club and Queen Belinda.![]()
