    Curling tong advice

Ladies...and maybe gents, I need help.

I recently went out one evening after curling my hair using my GHDs. It worked pretty well and i loved the look it gave.

However, I have tried recreating the look and it wont work, so now I want to buy proper curling tongs.

Ive seen those new Babyliss ones advertised but i also read a bad review against them.

    Does anyone have any advice?

I have Babyliss spiral type ones. THEY ARE GOOD

I love that you are straightening your curly hair and then curling it again

I know, but I have no choice, the natural girls are horrible.

Which Babyliss ones do you have, the new ones?

They are a couple of years old so I assume not. They are something like this:

Yeah they do, they are better than any other tongs I've used.

Rachey i've had more luck curling my hair with my GHDs than with curling irons. Do you have the thin GHDs?

I think I'm strangely attracted by the picture of the curling tongs Kate posted. But not for curling my hair.

Rachey, GHDs are waaay better at curling than tongs. It's all about the flick of the wrist when you do it.

Rachey my friend got one of those ones they sell in shopping centres that are conical, you basically get a heat proof glove to hold the hair at the end when you wrap it round it and they are ceramic. They look like an anal probe!

But they are literally the best hair curlers I have ever seen. FB is banned at work but when I can get on at home I will show you a picture.

http://stelarium.co.uk/herstyler-bab...g-iron-7-p.asp - I think they are the same thing.

I've decided to take my hairdresser's advice and use a comb instead of a brush now, and oh my it works. My naturally wavy hair doesn't look so horribly frizzy now and I'm proud to wear it down.
