Can you make the title chart tracker 2009 please? We have one of these every year - it will make it easier to distinguish if searching in future.
NATURALLY I think I'm a nice person. But I make women uncomfortable because I have this unattainable body.

Pogues/Kirsty Maccoll having THREE versions in the top 150 is even more impressive really.

I do wonder if ANYTHING will ever break the annual Pogues/Mariah Xmas duopoly.

    Go Mariah leading the way

Along with th Pogues it really is THE christmas song each year these days isn't it.

I tire of saying it but she could get a number one with it one year if she performed it over here, maybe the week before X Factor ends, performing it ON X Factor

It's not a million seller yet, is it? Still, only a matter of time if it isn't.

It's sold about 700,000 copies through the years - 430,000 in 1994/5 and the other 270,000 has been on downloads since 2004.

I've got 559,198 for Without You (sales to end of the 90s), so AIWFCIY is by far her biggest seller though of course in the 90s Without You had sold more.

Unless she gets caught up in a child abuse scandal (not a gurantee of destruction of record sales these days) or people get SO BORED of said song, it should easily top a million sales within a good few years.

Yes but I don't really see that as a xmas single, just a song that happened to be rereleased at xmas

Don't forget Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Xmas video for the Power of Love.

Anyway, I'm disappointed Bob Dylan's Must Be Santa hasn't appeared yet.
"And I shall not be dark, but beautiful and terrible as the Morning and the Night! Fair as the Sea and the Sun and the Snow upon the Mountain! Dreadful as the Storm and the Lightning! Stronger than the foundations of the earth. All shall love me and despair!"

This intrigues me as you're both from Southampton (I think) - did he sell you a dodgy hair dryer at Bargates market one day or is your grievence completely music-related?
