She may be a bit stuck up musically, but Mel C along with Emma is clearly the most sane, grounded and likeable of the group.

OMG i'm loving this, it sounds fabulous.
Jennifer Saunders has NEVER been great at plot structure, so I'm fully expecting this to be creaky as shit with a few great gags.

It's true! Even the very best Ab Fabs are quite disjointed structurally. It's the strength of the characters, the actors and the amazing one-liners that make it a great show.
The last couple of series maybe but the first ones were massively well structured and plotted- the first series in particular- and even the likes of "Vivienne Vyle", whilst character based vehicles, was well plotted on the whole. As well as the early Comic Strip stuff, of course, but I guess we have no way of knowing just who did what there...
