It's not top of my list of places to go. Is this the two day thing with work?

    Yes!

I'm a bit annoyed, as I said to let me know before they book, as I might consider staying out there a bit longer if one of you boys wanted to come out there, but they went and booked anyway.

And I'm sharing a room with the boss

I think Suedehead has been. Or at least he;s a lot more familiar with Northern Italy than me.

Isn't it the financial heart of Italy as well?

I don't think it's supposed to be THAT attractive a city outside of the centro storico, is it, but I'm sure you'll find enough to do to fill a few days. Isn't it very easy to get to one of the big lakes from there, as well?

All I remember is on the main shopping road I went to tip some guy playing the didgeridoo and he then asked me to hold it while he went to toilet in la rinascente, so i was just left in the street for a good five minutes just holding this didgeridoo

    here is a nice building

Definitely go to the Duomo, which is gorgeous. La Scala is one of the most famous Opera Theatres in the world - so if you could catch something there, that would be awesome. Make sure you go and see 'The Last Supper' by Da Vinci - I loved that.

Also, you can get to Lake Como - its a short train ride away.
I WILL GET REAL GRIMEY. I WILL START CUTTIN' UP CLOTHES.

I've rather LUDICROUSLY booked a ticket to see Dead Can Dance in Milan in October and now have no idea what on EARTH I'm going to do when I get there, let alone where to stay or indeed HOW TO SPEAK ITALIAN

Why the fuck didn't I choose HAMBURG?

As it is, I decided to get a ticket for the Hamburg show as well. I haven't been anywhere since Krakow in 2006 thanks to my soon-to-be-disappearing DISMAL DEBTS so FUCK IT

    EURO UP
