So after spending about 70 hours on my PSP to finish Tactics Ogre I'm back to my 3DS and Pilotwings and I still find it a bit disappointing. The game is fun, but very lightweight, and I honestly forget about the 3D effect two minutes into it which is clearly NOT GOOD. I am not buying Ocarina of Time once again as I know that game by HEART, so there is absolutely FUCK ALL for me on the horizon until the Resi game (not Mercenaries) comes out.
£159.99 @ Game at the moment.

I cannot believe how bad Mario Land looks. It truly was a simpler time. When are we getting Link's Awakening? It's not on the Virtual Console. Will it be Thursday/Friday when they shop updates?
They really should have launched the 3DS NOW, with OoT 3D being the main launch title, the eShop ready from box with a handful of killer titles coming up within the first 3-6 months

I did a system transfer between the DSi and 3DS and it's Pikmin moving the files over. It's so freaking cute!
I think I need to buy one purely for this!
I've always imagined the Purple Pikmin (Pikman?) being something COB would be in to.

So it's been announced that this is getting a worldwide price drop in August. In Japan it's going from £196 to £118 with it been reduced by 'about a third' in Europe to about £150 (retailers can still sell it for whatever they want though)
Oh and to us LOYAL FANZ who have already bought one there will be an "Ambassador program" which grants us 10 Game Boy Advance Virtual Console games as well as 10 free NES Virtual Console games.

The whole 3DS has been a dud so far hasn't it? i haven't been paying attention to sales and what not but it seems there are no games around? The last major thing was RE and that was received poorly and so far the only good game is the Zelda remake.
And RIGHT ON CUE here come the same old Negative Nancies who HATE EVERY FACET OF LIFE ITSELF (and probably haven't even picked up the thing).
Yes it's disappointing they've reduced the price. It's such un-Nintendo thing to do but they've obviously panicked a bit because of that fucking Vita (). I for one could not be happier with my 3DS. It's a great little machine, I got it for a pretty good price and the amount of joy I've got from playing Ocarina Of Time cannot be quantified by money. That we're getting undisputed classics like Metroid Fusion and Yoshi's Island isn't so bad at all.

My DS was stolen in October 2009 and I never bothered replacing it, but the real heartache was the Metroid Fusion cartridge that was in it at the time
