Price Tag is Popjustice's Song of the Day
We are not sure if 'Price Tag', with its lines about how "everybody's got a price, I wonder how they sleep at night" and how "it's not about the money ... we just wanna make the world dance", really is a Miley-esque, wide-eyed meditation on how pop should be All About The Music Man. It sort of works better if you think of it as a satire on naive, do-gooding major label-signed musos who bleat about integrity, but that may be wishful thinking.
Either way, ahead of a proper release in the coming months this Dr Luke production - which he put on Soundcloud himself yesterday evening - of former Popjustice Almighty star Jessie J is a ridiculously addictive introduction to an effortlessly great, new(ish) talent.
