I think she's still in the (intentional) buzz phase. It'd be ludicrous to try to launch a new artist in the run-up to Christmas, especially one who doesn't even have an album out.

    Jan will be HER MONTH

She is now nominated for BBC Sound of 2011. I think she has a great voice and is v talented but she oversings everything, which I ABHOR and I don't like P!nk/Natasha Bedingfield type MOR R&B lite pop, which is the route she/the label appear to be taking.

I think she should have given 'Do It Like A Dude' to Rihanna. You can practically HEAR her singing it, it was so obviously meant for her.

It's on the website! The label convinced her to keep it for herself. I thought you'd be pleased I was looking into her. :-(

    V TALENTED

But I'm not feeling the P!nk etc vibe. She needs her own IMAGE is all.

Also I DISLIKE the overprocessed vocals/OTT production. It's so not necessary when the person CAN SING

I didn't imagine she'd WIN :O I wonder if she'll top the Sound of 2011 poll as well.

Anyway, she has a great voice, questionable image and DREADFUL proper lead single. She was pretty good on Jools Holland, though.

I only just realised. This is the girl I saw supporting Cyndi Lauper about 2 years ago. SHe wasactually rather good. Had some catchy tunes for an unknown support act.

The album's called "Who You Are" so this must just be a Live EP or something

I do like the image but not for the album cover

There are a couple of videos marked "Rock Feedback Sessions" so think it's a collection of those acoustic performances

My god I LOVE "Do It Like A Dude". Late contender for one of my songs of the year without question

Although Pink comparisons?! She doesn't look or sound ANYTHING like her aside from being a hulking LEZ, and the song is nothing she would come out with either!

Not really fussed on the other stuff. "Who You Are" is nice and all but hardly a ballad of EPIC proportions. More stuff like the single please

Jessie J has revealed that she is saving most of her work for her debut album.

The singer, who was recently announced as this year's Brit Award Critic's Choice winner, said she has been asked to write songs for Christina Aguilera and X Factor winner Matt Cardle, but is holding back the material for her own LP.

"I am being sent stuff to do for Willow Smith. I would love to do a song with her, though I think she would show me up because she is amazing and would have an incredible hairstyle," she told the Daily Record.

"You can't get cooler than her. Look at her mum and dad."

"Christina Aguilera's camp are asking me to do stuff and the X Factorcamp - Matt Cardle - but at the moment I want to save some songs for me."

The 'Do It Like A Dude' singer also admitted that she is pleased with how she is perceived in the music industry, and believes that she is respected by other artists and label heads.

"You can write songs but it is whether people want to listen to them or not," she said. "I always knew that I loved writing songs. That gave people a newfound respect for me and I'm so glad that it was that which gave me a platform, rather than being another chick on a rapper's song who sings the middle eight.

"It was a really credible way to get my name heard. I wrote a song on Chris Brown's album called 'I Need This' and last week I heard that has been nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B album. So that's pretty good."

Jessie J releases her as-yet-untitled debut album next year.

God I HATE this approach. She has achieved NOTHING as an artist yet! She's already being made out to be some sort of LIVING LEGEND.

Ah, they didn't duet at mine. I remember thinking Jessie had a good voice in her support slot, but it was all a bit out of place. She had an iPod as her backing track or something.

I know she wrote 'Party In The USA' but 'Price Tag' is basically the 'Party...' instrumental with different (read: cringeworthy) lyrics over the top.

She's a hateful little cunt too.
