What is even her plan regarding the US? What's the first proper single?

Price Tag - it's is currently number something-low-but-encouraging on the some chart and playlisted at Z100 etc.

I remain unconvinced of her songs though, and I really don't think she's likable as a popstar. Just my own opinion though

Personally (and I'm sure I will be vilified for this) I don't think she's anything near the complete popstar package (Jessie J that is, not Katy). Songs like L-O-V-E seem rather faceless and it almost feels like she doesn't know which direction to go in so she's going in a few and seeing what sticks. But there's no doubt she has talent and a host of good songs.

I think direction is her biggest problem at the moment. It feels like who she wants to be vs who she is vs who she is being positioned as by various media outlets is extremely different and confusing.

still it doesn't matter at the moment - until the bubble bursts all we can say is ITS WORKING and let her get on with it. When was the last time a brand new, previously unheard of singer had 7 pages on moopy before a debut album even had a FULL TRACKLIST let alone been released?

Price Tag is so catchy. I love the version they released. Amazing singable chorus and lyrics.

I left it too late to get tickets this morning - they sold out in minutes (to the touts). I'm working on an eBay recovery plan though.

I heard her being interviewed by Steve Wright this afternnon whilst being stick in a traffic jam with my father. She was severely annoying - my dad was laughing at the dreary bilge she was spouting.

Presuming I Need This is the Chris Brown 'cover' (but not really because she wrote it), the only as-yet-unheard song is Abracadabra. All the rest should be online in one form or another. Not sure how many have properly leaked in HQ... aside from the singles, Who You Are and L.O.V.E. at a guess.

OH VERY FUCKING DEAR AT THAT TAT. That has to be one of the worst I've seen this side of Lil' Wayne.

ps. Nobody's Perfect, LOVE, Who You Are, Price Tag and Dude are the only ones out there in proper HQ.

That looks awful. Like someone wrote the shopping list on the arm. Imagine what it looks when the skin gets looser.

OH GOD I REALLY HATE THIS NEW ONE, just as much as I didn't like DILAD

This just sounds like Natasha Bedingfield but more obnoxious and with critical acclaim

I agree on the Bedingfield front but I do like it.

Managed to get some London concert tix off eBay but had to pay £35 for the pleasure. They were only £12 face value.

Marina's thread was on seven pages before the album had been released, and she's been a huge success.
