Is that where she pretends to be scared of the thunder?AMAZING
I am hoping to get my friend a copy of the physical single today from TESCO for his bday
Seriously I've now watched this Daybreak perf about 4 times. It's annoyingly good!
She's in freefall on Itunes now - down to 39! She was at 21 on Wednesday...
Is this available in Nadine's cunty personality? If not, can someone please thrust it in hard? Ta.
I went to my local Tesco Extra yesterday and searched every inch of the fucking place. No mention of Nadine anywhere
NO WONDER IT'S NOT SELLING
She should SUE.
William Orbit produced 'Unbroken'
My GOD he's gone to shit.
'Sue, did the President call?' ... 'No' Last.fm
Did Orbit produce most of it?
Just given this several listens this morning, apart from being WAY too ballad heavy (which would be fine if a lot of them weren't shit) this is REALLY good I feelIt's just so much more than I was expecting, mainly because I find "Insatiable" only be about the 6th or 7th best song on there, how anyone could have thought that was the best thing to release first I'll never know. I know everyone here seems to think that too, but there is no way on earth some of these songs wouldn't have done better (as in #15 better). If this album gets to a 4th single (
) I STILL wouldn't have picked it. It's an album that could have been done by anyone with no particular style at all and no personality just some decent songs with a voice (so perfect for TreyC then). As for the songs that matter:
Runnin': It's like a middling "State Of Mind" album track with LUNGS. Which is obviously fine. I like the production on this (Is it Orbit? Doesn't sound like it..) and while it doesn't go anywhere as such, there's a good enough hook/melody here to keep it interesting throughout. Plus her voice does help a lot...which is true for many of these songs. Already this would've gone down better than "Insatiable".
Put Your Hands Up: Are people really not keen on this? No it's not original (Kaci's "Crazy Possessive" crossed with something Rachel Stevens might have had only, again, sung really well) but it's still a solid 8/10 pop tune for me. Again it's got good beefy production, a big thumping chorus this time, no true "WOW" factor but enough to have got the masses listening more in every possible way...of course it's probably too late now.
Chained: Okay this is by far the best thing she's got to offer here. As far as "Spotlight" rip-offs go I'm fully aboard this oneIt's just stunning, such a gorgeous mid-tempo number, in fact I would have totally gone for this as the first single, it's just such glittery bouncy sad FLUFF it's fantastic. The chorus could do with being a tiny bit stronger but that's picking holes, it's lovely. Three songs in and it's all quite conventional pop music, but it's all pretty strong. It's clear to see now that "Insatiable" was picked to show her vocals combined with her slightly rawer, REAL music side
Nice idea, but not when it's going to send good songs down the PAN.
Red Light: I think this song is all worth it for that brilliant guitar outro that lasts an age right at the end. This is more of a rock-pop thing, quite strutting and confident, the chorus is really rousing I think. Strong again, another obvious single for me...
Lullaby: It sounds like it's going to be a blatant "Halo" rip-off in the opening few seconds, then it bursts into something that's quiteA big old kind of disco-style ballad with Nadine's voice works every bit as well as it should, although the song ends too abruptly for me, but while it's there it's ridiculously catchy. Goes without saying that she carries it SUPERBLY as well
Raw: Who said she sounds terrible on this? I think this showcases her voice the best! I think she's meant to sound a BIT shaky in parts - don't you know she's been left RAW? I think this is utterly wonderful...quite a big stomping slightly uptempo ballad that seems to freely go where it wants to, like it's made up as it goes along, but it works, even though the chorus very much just feels an extension of the verses, it just flows into it beautifully with some super strong Nadine vocals to carry it. The final big note into the last chorus made me tingle a little I must admit. I love the sentiment too. Easily a 9/10 moment.
Apart from "Insatiable" I don't think anyone needs to bother with the rest, which is a complete shame! If she'd ditched the dreary ballads (we know you can sing - it doesn't work without the TUNES though) and put more of the above on, then this would have been a brilliant album. I'm still shocked how much I like some of it..."Insatiable" is down in 7th overall and that's a semi-decent song as it is. What a shame it's going to sell about 6 copies. I expect to go into Tesco and see the contents of value tinned tomatoes thrown casually into her emaciated but pretty face![]()
God that went on a bit. Oh and goes without saying this is ten times better than Messy Streaks of SHIT by the (non)Voice. Talk about the ultimate kick in the teeth...

She seems to have fallen out with Orbit. He tweeted that he had 'no idea' if any of his tracks were on the album, and that he 'didn't care all that much'.
I really want Mary to perform Insatiable on the X Factor either in her sing-off tonight or next week.
"It's like WHOOOOOAH (voluminous arm movement) who knew
That I have so much more to giiiive
than selling Nadine's tesco hits - you're insatiable"
Cherly:"Y'knoo pet, Ah don't think tha was the reet song fer ya leik, or fer anyone on tha mattur"
Louis:"Mary, it was amazing and I think it could be a NUMBER ONE RECORD"
Nothing to see here MOVE ALONG.
I think Unbroken is the best produced song on the album. I'm really beginning to love it. Most of the songs are big growers in fact.
Unbroken is great - could be a Siobhan Donaghy song. I really rate Orbit - I wonder how many songs Nadine did with him.
Unbroken has the most painfully awful vocal I have heard in a very very long time. The production isn't all that either.

Unbroken is awful! Why bother getting William Orbit to do it if it's just going to sound like any acoustic-style piece of NOTHINGNESS? It's like Jamelia getting Lady Gaga to snap her fingers for one second on a B-side - what's the point?! Unless of course he really did hate her so much and just put no effort whatsoever into any of the tracksHence why only one made it (and just for the name attached I'm sure).
She doesn't NEED him anyway...if they'd ditched him, Guy Chambers and Toby Gad and got more songs by the main producer or the ones who did Runnin/PYHU/Lullaby it could've been an all out WINNER
I thought that Tweet was just him being a cunty "I'm way above pop music" prick.
New at 26. What a success.
It's about 6 places lower that it deserves to be.

What's confusing? We just find the heart of the prison and the dragon who speaks without walls, and we're home free. Simple.
Well, #26 is a lot better than it could have been, she sold 9k as of Friday, so I imagine it did about 11-12k in total.

She's the British Christina Aguilera only without the voice or the decade of solo chart success
FEARLESS FEMALE
It's been too long, it's been too long...
Cheryl's vocal is SHIT, but what more would you expect from someone who cannot sing. Nadine's on the other hand is genuinely uncomfortable to listen to.

Is the album out today?
They missed a trick by not having Fay Ripley and the fat man from the Full Monty appearing in a tie-in advert.
Will the album do better than the single?

I'm REALLY liking this album now but I think I shall wait until it's available as part of the Dine In For £10 promotion before purchasing.

I bought it (using my £8 off voucher), the cover looks even more crap in reality.

Yeah I had a look in Tesco and the artwork really does look cheap as fuck. More like a budget compilation padded out with album tracks then a debut album by a reasonably big name.
Going by the state of the website, The Workers don't have access to owt fancy like Photoshop.
It's photocopies, scissors and craft glue all the way![]()
I had to snigger at this insight of an Australian poster at a chart forum:
This song is simply boring and rubbish. Looks like Cheryl was the creative force behind Girls Aloud at the minute.
So Xenomania is a nickname of Cherly 'Creative Force' Cole then?![]()
Hey go get the doctor
Doctor came too late...
I'm actually really quite enjoying this album. Who'd have thought it.![]()
