She's releasing Runnin' in the US?!
She needs a BIG STAR guest feature, like Keri Hilson (deader after this).
Is there a chance of this happening in ANY UNIVERSE? Have stranger things EVER happened? (Nadine in the US that is, not a Keri guest spot as let's face it the latter would feature on anything).
The album's slightly embarrassing really. It's not awful, but the crime is that Nadine is singing mediocre but consistent songs. The title track is certainly gutsy, but it's hot air to me, a turd blocking what should have been an easy flush, and yes it leaves skidmarks (I blame the food at Irish Mist). Red Light is the closest to a Girls Aloud song, it starts off sounding a bit like a Eurythmics circa 1985 song and then chants excitedly like Kids In America. Lullaby is really nice. Put Your Hands Up sounds like Samantha Berger meets Solange's I Decided. Because I like 90s MOR divas I really enjoyed Rumours, Love Affair and pretty much all that's here, but she just didn't have the same discerning taste that we'd expect from someone who sang Biology and was there in the background whilst Nicola ruled the universe with Swinging London Town.
The best thing she could do to make up for the mess she is in is leak the Britney demo of Graffiti My Soul.

AMUSINGLY in a branch I went in whilst touring the country on a ROADSHOW of all things, the staff had put the album in every chart position which had sold out to fill the shelves

I'm still deluded enough to think things such as that Tesco could have promoted Insatiable more, for example, by playing the music video on their flat screens and playing the whole abum at a peak hour (along with any other of their signings). It just seems obvious. As I warned, I'm possibly deluded.

This thread needs to be REMOVED from the top of the Girls Aloud forum. Reason being that everytime I see it, I think there's some exciting new Nadine NEWS/GOSSIP/HILARITY and there isn't.

If i am honest, i think that Nadine doesn't like the Kim/cheryl friendship that is possibly the strongest in the group now. I also think Kim didn't contact Nadine when she get engaged. She just used her OK column, for some reason she didn't want to speak to Nadine directly and admitted that she hadn't in a magazine. Nadine probably has heard nothing of Kim's constant mentions of her and well wishes in OK mag, even on Under the skin it was the interview who twisted Kim's words by saying Nadine wouldn't be the type to get married, Nadine seemed quite offended but obviously Kim didn't mean it like that. Maybe Nadine has a skewed and incorrect image of Kimberley - if anything she's defended her endlessly in the press this year.
The Nicola thing is unforgivable though (if she did it on purpose). Nicola was the only member to ring Nadine when she got engaged and released her single to wish her well. Nicola gave in to twitter pressure and wished Nadine a happy Birthday. But when Nicola's birthday came round, despite warnings from fans and being online that very day and mentioning other people's birthdays in a tweet the day after Nadine didn't do the same.
Sarah and Nadine have been close, but i think Nadine still considers Sarah a colleague, even Sarah said she wanted to meet up with Nadine when she was in the UK but she couldn't get through i.e Nadine didn't want to meet up with the girls.
But with Cheryl i see no blame for Nadine. She text her when her single got released and was unwell and got no reply. She welcomed her to twitter and got no reply. Even with all the press speculation neither Nadine or Cheryl where decent enough to 'give in' and ring each other to clear the air - very uptight of them both (mainly Cheryl). 2002 Cheryl would have picked up her phone and rang Nadine and gone ''Whets all this in the paypers pet?'' but not stuck up 2010 Cheryl.
JESUS CHRISTI think Nadine could have made a good example for the other girls by texting and tweeting Nicola by showing that if you open up the lines of communication with me i'll do the same. I knew even a week before that Nadine wouldn't return the favour, and surprise surprise she didn't. It's not that she's evil it's that i think she thinks if she does it with one member she'll have to do it with the rest of them and all their personal stuff which could be a lot of work. But a few harmless tweets are not a subscription to be involved in their personal lives are they!?
I sort of knew the other day when Nadine tweeted she wouldn't tweet for Kim - what a coincidence. It's not over analysing twitter, there's a lot of substance here that proves the point and there's way too many occurrences and convenient 'forgetting' going on to deny that this is any thing other than on purpose. Maybe Nadine doesn't want to be the sort of girl who tweets them at their birthdays or buys them presents? that's fine...but not great when you have 4 other girls who love that stuff and your'e slowly becoming your own version of Javine i.e the 'difficult' member. Even in her album thank you's Nadine didn't thank the girls, her previous record company and management for her being a celeb today - Cheryl and Nadine did. Everything from the lead singer comments, to the girls being on holiday when she was recording, to the admission on Under the skin ''It wasn't anything deliberate i didn't say i wasn't going to want to speak to anybody, it's just the way it's turned out but some day we'll sit down and chat and all will be forgetten'' that ladies and gentleman is a confession that there is problems within this group.
That freaky video where a random fan rings Nadine and Nadine chats to her where nearly all other celebs would have shouted and hung the phone up on him was a great example of how great Nadine can be with fans which i will not deny. Her voice is a big reason the band has been a success. Whilst she doesn't have to be chummy with the girls and see them everyday, i don't think it's that difficult to do these nice things. She has constantly said that the girls are her colleagues, she only switched on her single week when she knew it would be damaging. She doesn't want to be friends with Kim, Cheryl, Sarah and Nicola. I hate the excuse they all use in Kim's accent ''but she is in LA''.
What i have always found so funny was the Girls Aloud Loving Kind interview with Paul O Grady. The discuss Nadine's bar, the opening and Paul asks the other girls ''are you all going over for the opening'' and no reply....i.e no way. Nadine doesn't seem bothered i.e doesn't want them to come either. That said a lot to me about the band. They've shocked me - i don't care what anyone says about me over analysing i maybe doing that a bit but if there wasn't so much 'evidence' i wouldn't have anything to say would i. I don't think for a second these are coincidences. Poor Cheryl probably was over flooded with tweets so didn't see Nadine's tweet despite only following 20 people and replying to Nicola night and day - AS IF. Cheryl was too unwell to text Nadine back! AS IF she text simon back and the first text was sent to her BEFORE she was ill and BEFORE her divorce (when FFTL came out) still no reply.
I'm stunned at them really, didn't know they where this 'cold' in real life. They always portrayed to the media that the secret to their success was they where all genuine friends - i think Nadine's put these barriers up ever since the greatest hits year and the others have picked up on it and slowly stopped caring. Nadine's obviously offended, but there's no way she's gonna sink her pride by contacting any of them first.
