Last time I met Star, she me that if I voted for Indie, it would lead to thousands of Islamic extremists joining Moopy and then gave a me a leaflet repeating the claim.

A question to all the admin candidates - what do you think the biggest threat to moopy is and what steps will you take to prevent it?

I really wouldn't trust Indie with my mum.
I think that's an interesting question as it could vary between people. For some, excessive exposure of the site could have a negative impact on them, for others it might be invasion of retards, or maybe the site not being as busy as it was before. Obviously the action needed depends on the situation. We've been through a lot over the past few years though and we're still here going stronger than ever, so I'm confident we've learnt enough to deal with most situations.

But I've pretty much self taught myself a lot about vbulletin. I can do most things that need doing, and I've seen us through various forum upgrades and server migration!

I'm FIRMLY in favour of ANY kind of election.

I'm not going to go all Star on you and give you a politician answer... for me it's that we'll just die out through being quiet. And there's not much that CAN be done on that front - i don't want to be an admin that sits there and makes games for everyone all the time. The key is to keep things interesting enough, but that's not down to the admin alone
On being an admin? Zilch, zero, nada. But hey, you've got to start somewhere. I'm not Moopy's longest serving moderator for nothing...
On computers? Technically competent. Not a whizz by any means but i do know a few things.

I think people know my policy on ORGANISED FUN.
Naturally it SHOULD be ORGANIC, but when that fails, that's where mods and admin STEP IN.

Elections, votes, rates, polls are always needed. Other than that fuck need.
Well there has to be a decent demand/interest. Our recent elections haven't had many candidates coming forward. If you have a by election just for the sake of it, you'll end up with the likes of Cooldave as a mod.

I like the fact that many posters have had the chance to be a mod. It fits in nicely with my ideals of Moopy as a socialist utopia.
