I like how this article is basically built around the fact that everyone thought she was too shit to be coming back.Konnie Huq has said that she expects to return to the Xtra Factor, but has admitted that her position is not certain.
Huq, who took over the spinoff show role last year, said that nothing has been confirmed about the 2011 run, yet she remains upbeat about working on the programme again.
Speaking on the red carpet at the National Television Awards, Huq told reporters: "Well they are chopping everything around. As far as I'm concerned at the moment, yes [I will be back]. But you just don't know what will happen in this weird and wonderful world of television."
Caroline Flack, Emma Willis and 'F Factor' presenter Matt Edmondson have been tipped to replace Huq if she doesn't land the job.
ALSO! I read a few days ago that she's going to be in an episode of a "Passions of Girls Aloud"-esque show, where she trains to become a rapper.

She was a bit car crash, but in the end that made her endearing and I think Simon has a soft spot for her. If ratings didn't nose dive, then she could very well be SAFE.

Surely they wouldn't give her the job again? She was beyond DREADFUL.
The only reason for them keeping her would be to maintain some consistency in a show which may have enough major changes this season.
Rumours are abound that the job is basically Georgie Thompson's if she wants it. She presents Sky Sports at the minute and she's married to Dec (of Ant and... fame, obviously).
