I'm certainly not as anti it as Slave, but I do fail to see how it's anything better than 'quite good'. As a launch single on a small label, I think she's going to struggle.

I reckon AT BEST it'll do a Laura White. But even then, there was a (small) sense of Laura having been somewhat robbed on X Factor (She wasn't, she was just shit). I don't think people have the same feeling about Rachel, if they even remember her at all.

I was thinking about this the other day. I still really like it. The last I heard was the release date had been brought forward to February because of the overwhelming response it received. But now is March...
Radio 1 will inevitably ignore it.

Rather amazingly the 'Club Lights EP' has cropped up on Amazon and Itunes with both the tracks in this thread included. Didn't think they'd see the light of day. Oh, and she goes under the catchy moniker of Rachel A now.

I have to say the EP is well worth a purchase. "Club Lights" has grown on me looooads and really like "Young Hearts". "On My Own" is quite good too though not listened to that much yet. I do hope we get a full album at some point
