    mad New Years Honours

Annie Lennox seemingly being the main issue this year - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12090365

Others of mild note include Sheila Hancock, Trevor Horn... and a whole lot of NOBODIES + assorted army folk and sports people. PFF. Where's DAME KYLIE? Or indeed Dannii.

Why are people up in arms about Bruce Forsyth?

I think it's highly likely that he does not want an honour.

The Palace contacts candidates before they are announced to make sure that they will agree to accepting the honour if an offer is made. If someone says 'Oh I'm not interested' then no official offer is even made.

I would imagine that Bruce is simply not interested.

Even wondered why Sue Townsend has has never been knighted - well she says that she was asked but said no.

    Ah, SAINT Annie Lennox

She tends to be a bit literal with things

This was worn promoting an album AGAINST war

This was worn at the Brits
