See I'm the opposite as (ESOM aside) none of Jay-Z's stuff does much for me whereas Kayne does have quite a few great tracks (Through the Wire, Diamonds, Stronger, All of the lights and almost everything from 808s)
i just can't get into kanye and i don't even care about him being a cunt of the highest order
in my books jay has at least half a dozen classics (can i get a, izzo, empire, on to the next one, 99 problems, hard knock life, etc) and the only kanye songs i care about are gold digger and monster

It's like you're screaming . . . and no one can hear;
you almost feel ashamed . . . that someone could be that important
am you know I love you, but you obviously haven't given any of his albums a real chance, because they are basically all really good; especially the last two. He's constantly evolving and finding his identity as an artist.
Jay-Z just doesn't have that level of depth: It's all swagger (love him as well though).
I prefer Kanye over Jay Z. I think that for the most part he works better alone. As I like MBTDF and 808s better than WTT, Which feels very uneven.
While time and time again I can sit down and enjoy/appreciate a Kanye album (especially MBTDF), I don't feel I ever get the URGE to do that with Jay-Z. Although I think I listened to and rather liked The Black Album years ago.
does anyone still think this album is amazing?
not warming to it at all, apart from otis and the frank ocean track (despite the pretty rubbish lyrics)

Did anyone go to the WTT tour? It was pretty amazing. I much prefer Jay to Ye so it wasn't my favourite Jay-Z gig of all time (IOW Festival 2010 would be that). And I still can't really get on board with the WTT album. I think it's pretty lazy for both artists.
