My favourite Jenny Silver moment is 'I Believe In You' which kind of sounds like a natural followup to 'A Place To Stay'
A Place To Stay vs Something in Your Eyes
I can't believe these two entries were sung by the same person, its a little bit bizarre. I feel a bit like Jenny Silver is taking the piss a bit with Something in Your Eyes, I really hope that shes actually a secret work of subversive genius. I mean the song is basically Abba doing Take Me To Your Heaven by the way of Fame, and the performance is a young thin Shirley Clamp wearing Carola's Evighet outfit borrowing Lena Phillipssons microphone and Charlotte Perrelli's backing dancers. Its like somebody intentionally set out to create the most GENERIC melodifestivalen entry of all time.
I would love it if she is actually MEGA BITTER following the absolute failure of A Place To Stay last year, and decided to return to mf this year with a piss take copy and paste melodifestivalen entry, and actually convince people she was absolutely sincere, that would be brilliant.
Anyway which do you prefer?
Personally I think A Place To Stay is one of the best things to EVER GRACE the melodifestivalen stage (well until LOREEN came along earlier), so absolutely unexpected, so amazing in every way.

I absolutely love both (AND I Believe In You) but Something In Your Eyes is the kind of shit I live for. As she came from a dansband background, I imagine there is no irony in her entry this year. I think she just wants a career as a singer.
Something in Your Eyes, BUT I also LOVE A Place to Stay.
What's confusing? We just find the heart of the prison and the dragon who speaks without walls, and we're home free. Simple.
It really is a near impossible decision to make, on one hand A Place To Stay is glorious, but then Something In Your Eyes is the kind of stuff I live for. But as I do think SIYE is probably more me, I'll vote for it.

I think both are great, but I can't compare them, they're too different.
You are a depraved bird of hate, get out of my sight!
The A Place To Stay performance really reminds me of this INTERNET ICON -
I would love to know where it came from, and who made it up. I didn't watch mf live last year as I didn't have the internet, but I imagine it was a total wtf moment (followed by gays shrieking THAT WAS AMAZING (i think))

Both performances are brilliant. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into it.
A normal person must
Dismiss you with disgust
And weep for those who trusted you.
A Place To Stay was such a unique and memorable performance, the single unbroken camera shot is so effective.
If being myself is what I do wrong
Then I would rather not be right
Ooh I only watched the final last year so wasn't aware of "A place to stay" it's really really good.
Still need to catch up with last weeks so can't vote yet.
I'd never heard "I Believe In You" before, can someone send it to the glowing mic stand store?

Ooh "Something in your yes" is fun but " A place to stay" is a much better song!

i loved a place to stay last year, even without it really going anywhere
haven't seen a thing so far this year and this must be remedied post haste
the best song wasn't a single
I absolutely love both so it's almost impossible to choose but since I'm obsessed with SIYE at the moment I voted for that.
