I'm just praying that Shirley's song really picks up after the first chorus.

Otherwise ONLY LINDA can save this year for me.

    Hmm, I'm not that impressed
What's confusing? We just find the heart of the prison and the dragon who speaks without walls, and we're home free. Simple.

The Saade song is catchy (not better than Manboy from what we heard mind!) but by no means a winner!

I hope he won't (unless this was the worst part of the song).

Unless those songs all sound a LOT better in HQ, this is really shaping up to be an epic let-down of a year.

If I was a MF blogger who wanted everyone to know I'd heard the songs before anyone else when I actually hadn't then I would have described Shirley's Angels as "the gayest thing ever" too. The reality is that it's more of a CLEOPATRA comeback

Bengtzing. That's all you need to know.

Oh, Linda Pritchard with an apparently big ballad, Melody Club and the Red One produced track by Love Generation.

Urgh. Suomi, which platform of Leytonstone station do you think it would be best to jump off?

I'm now really hoping that Linda Bengtzing isn't a huge letdown, but I'm fairly confident as it's a Thomas G:Son song and he has really delivered so far this year.

It's sort of all leading up to a Love Generation win isn't it? Let's hope Greece don't send 'I Don't Wanna Dance' otherwise there'll be lots of people not wanting to 'dance alone' in Dusseldorf.

    Speaking of Linda Bengtzing:

Here's our favourite schlagerslut in a 3 minute long ad for a Swedish electronical goods store

Which includes a clip of the new uniform-fetish song on her album.

Oh she is fabulous at the moment, even when she is whoring herself out demonstrating hair straighteners. Man i uniform sounds very promising - shame she couldn't have bothered herself to record a few more songs.

I can totally get behind a Sanna victory at this stage.

I can't see the Swedish public getting behind Love Generation. There's already far too much of a sense of entitlement surrounding them. Plus are they any good live?

Shirley's song sounds like it is playing too slowly!

You'd have thought that she would have tried to find a couple more fulsome angels too - though the performance looks like it should be fun.

The verse of Lucky You is VERY FAMILIAR. Sounds much better than has been described but in a radio hit, not an MF way. I like the sound of Sebastian's song, though he does appear to have properly gayed up over the last few years.

I am not feeling Eric Saade, his song or his grey jogging bottoms.

Otherwise, MEH. And this was meant to be the heat of death?

God I hope not, it's not that I don't think she's good enough, but it might be my least favourite MF entry by her EVER, and I've always thought her material has been beneath her ability (apart from Hela Varlden For Mig). It's just a warmed over version of Invincible.

I think (hope) the winner is from Heat 4 as per.

Also, the Shirley song is quite Ace Of Base-ish.

However, if I wanted an Ace of Base rip-off I'd listen to FUCKING ALEJANDRO. This is not what we've waited 6 years for.

Oh dear. I haven't even listened yet but this thread fills me with despair. Why did I choose this year to return to Globen?

Oh well, on with the listening...
