Bloody hell Andra Chansen is looking so much better than the final right now.
In my heart Loreen is very much an underdog, and also the greatest thing to happen to modern music.
It is really incredibly annoying that her and Jenny are drawn in the same side. I'm sure had Jenny been in todays heat she would have smashed it to Globen, the competition was hardly fierce.

Oh GOD, I'm the only one on here who slightly likes the Brolle song, right?![]()

Who on earth will I pledge my sincere support to next week? I love Linda P, Linda B and Love Generation...
I'm so nervous about Andra Chansen. There are so many songs in there that could save the final, and no doubt there'll be more after one of the Lindas gets dumped in there next week.
But there are so many songs in there that could kill it stone dead as well![]()
Bit of a furore on Twitter regarding 'Popular', with people saying the Swedish press are picking up on the 'Oh Mama' similarities as well as saying it plagiarises this...
*faints at the concept of Kempe being a plagiard*

I agree with ALL of this. I'm not even a big fan of Saade and thought Manboy was quite ropey, but this song is HUGE and the performance was nothing short of fantastic. It would be HUGE at Eurovision and Sweden would be absolutely MAD not to send it unless there's something life changing in Heat 4. Definite top 10 at Eurovision and a potential winner.
This year still isn't great is it? My happiest moment all night was when Shirley was placed in the other half of the AC draw from Jenny Silver, with any luck they'll both sail through to salvage Globen.

I'm not that fussed about Shirl, though I'm very pleased she made it through her heat as the performance was ace, but Globen NEEDS Jenny Silver.
I will not be happy if The Moniker knocks out Shirley's Angels.

A normal person must
Dismiss you with disgust
And weep for those who trusted you.
Ideally Shirley will learn from Iceland and actually 'accidentally' kill an Angel, giving her enough public sympathy to get through AC and finish second from last in the final.
Is there a place where I can see that amazing Popular performance?
What's confusing? We just find the heart of the prison and the dragon who speaks without walls, and we're home free. Simple.
THIS x A MILLION
I'm really shitting a brick about Andra Chansen. I was fairly glad Loreen got into the same group as Jenny as she'd have been a fairly good alternative, but now Sara Varga could ruin everything. Something Is Your Eyes is my favourite song this year though, I'll be gutted if it doesn't make it, especially in favour of that dreary shit.
If Linda Pritchard ends up in AC I hope she gets put in the bottom group, because she'll shit over everything in there, Shirley included.
I've fallen out of the Melodifestivalen loop this year, but Eric Saade was an UTTER TREAT! Please Sweden, do the right thing for once!
Not sure I get the fuss about his reliance on backing vocalists. He isn't the first and certainly won't be the last. Recent years have been littered with them and no one cared.
And also - New Swedish song rips off old Swedish song SHOCKER. Somewhat laughable if he gets serious criticism considering the last decade of Melodisfestivalen.
ERIC FTW
Can some enlightened Swedish speaker explain exactly what is going on in the interview segments before each performance? Are they trying to determine if the artist is suitable to represent Sweden internationally (hence the involvement of the foreign minister), or something else?
