I have to admit I almost shed a tear, mainly because I half expected them to be fourth or fifth.
We all had Darin down as the winner of that heat last year (if not the whole thing). I was so shocked when the girls won, and I think an even bigger shock came a week later when Anna won over Peter who was nailed on to win his heat until people actually heard his version of singing underwater.

According to Tobbe Ek someone (aka one of the artists involved in last Saturdays' show) must've been a complete cunt backstage, demanding multiple last minute changes when the show was already running and when the organisation team said it was not possible to make those changes, he/she started swearing at the main team, gave them the middle finger and stormed off, ridiculing people to tears.
He's not been giving away names though but I'm kinda hoping it was between Sara Lumholdt and Marie Serneholt

How come no-one's mentioned Saade? He had the most complicated staging with the glass (and looked the most nervous during the performance too), and had an aura of arrogant cunt about him the whole night. My money's on him.

I still haven't seen the majority of the performances but i've been listening to the songs loads and i have to say this heat really is VERY strong in my opinion - not one song I actively dislike.
My ranking:
1. Sebastian - No one Else Could (REALLY should have qualified)
2. Linda Sundblad - Lucky You (not right in this context but a great pop song)
3. The Playtones - The King
4. Sara Lumholdt: Enemy (does this remind anyone else of "Battlefield" by Jordin Sparks?)
5. Eric Saade - Popular
6. Sara Varga - Spring For Livet (i do think this is very good, but i just don't have the time for this right now...)
7. Shirley + Her Fallback Guys in Case it All Goes Wrong - I Thought it was Forever (sorry, this is just a watered down version of Bosson's "One in a Million" with the feeling and disappointment of "You're Not Alone" by BWO)
