grin Actual live vocal recordings from Heat 3 (Saade & Lumholdt)

Someone at SVT has been naughty and leaked some of the live vocal-only cuts from Linköping. Let's just say, it's not most flattering for Eric Saade but even less so for Sara Lumholdt

What are the odds Marie Serneholdt snatched these from the sounddesk?

Purges WILL be commissioned for that Eric leak (although he's not actually that bad for most of it, it's just the beginning and the glass smash where he's off.)

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the 'Popular' performance would be much better without the stupid glass gimmick.
Why should I care what they say?

The Eric clip isn't that bad really? Apart from conking out on a few tricky notes, which is at least less noticeable than hitting a bum note. Certainly nothing that sounded too awful with all the other stuff going on?

I imagine Dilba was probably fine. She's always had a very thin, whispery voice anyway, and it just got totally drowned out by the backing track. The fact that she was practically inaudible probably means she was largely in-tune anyway - otherwise her vox would have stood out more.

God Sara Lumholdt sounds absolutely appalling

I'd quite like to hear Shirley's too, the big note she hit before the key-change continued long after she took the microphone away from her mouth, and it was too long for it to be echo.

I've watched it about 20 times ( ) and it really doesn't. It lasts about half a second - totally plausible that it was an echo effect.

I don't think Eric is that bad, really. That's about the level I was expecting from him, he holds the tune, but struggles with the bigger notes.

Do you think? I hope she can give it as much at AC this week too. I think she could have ditched the Hedlund sisters behind her and still sung the song by herself. She'd have still made AC.

I'd love to know who leaked these. Probably Christer throwing a dicky fit after Love Generation didn't storm the vote.

No one else has given a really bad vocal so someone's obviously had the time to sit there and pick out the worst.

Saade will do better than Love Generation anyway. How many really succesful girl groups have we had at Eurovision anyway? BobbySocks, t.A.T.u. and Serebro are all that spring to mind for me.

    IT IS!

We'll find out on Saturday, because there's no way she's going to be that good twice in one night!

Well in that case it's a good thing she may not need to be

(disclaimer: I am not ACTUALLY supporting Pernilla...)

I don't think Shirley (+ angels) will beat Pernilla, so she needn't worry

Looking back at the Shirley's Angels performance I've just noticed a couple of very suspicious looking women in black standing at the side of the stage at mic stands...

I wonder what they're doing there...

Neither are overly bad I think. MF without backing vocals wouldn't work anyway. And I agree, the glass-stunt made Saade sound pretty awful, he should get rid of this.

Oh come on! Saade is almost passable but Sarah Lumholdt's vocal is absolutely unforgivable!

Agreed, Saade gets away with lots because he's got huskören-Lars singing along every line but Lumholdt is just ATROCIOUS.

Lumholdt's is seriously one of the worst vocals I've heard in a very very long time. It's strangely addictive listening though

You obviously haven't heard VoR doing Mel B's "Tell Me" on karaoke

I've only heard Eric's so far and YEAH it's not exactly out of tune for most of it - but his voice is just HORRIBLE....

    Looking forward to Sara's...

I too would love to hear Dilba's just to hear how much of the song she ACTUALLY sung.

You have just completely lost ANY respect. Sara's vocal is UNBELIEVABLY BAD.
