People will keep putting them up for sale throughout the resale period though, so it's not like they all came on at once at 9am today.

It keeps putting me in the queue and then telling me the tickets I want aren't available

I'm thinking of flogging my fencing ticket. I was well up for it when I thought I might be able to be there the entire first week but now I'm thinking I might just concentrate on getting more athletics tickets and go for Week 2 and no more...

I would love to get a ticket but I didn't have an opportunity

As I know there was a competition held by EDF energy so people could win tickets for London Olympics 2012. I wonder if there anybody on this forum who managed to win?

I won 17 tickets from EDF.

All for the same handball match.

    This is not surprising me

I read an article about him in a magazine here and he is going to be apparently THE star of the Olympics.

"Any tickets purchased up to and including 6 February 2012 will be delivered to the address on the ticketing account as of that date.
If you have moved, we advise you to contact Royal Mail to have your mail redirected so your tickets can be delivered to your new address. Please note that you will need to sign for your ticket package on delivery."

    Hmm I guess so then

    Ok can anyone help me.

I'm going to be hopefully bringing the kids down to London at some point while the Olympics are on. Were going to go do the touristy things but I was hoping to take them to the Olympic park for the day too (as it takes all of 10 mins to get to Stratford by train from my mums house next to Ebbsfleet station)

I'm trying to find out if its possible to get day tickets to the Olympic park? Just to wander around and look at the stadiums etc.
I have seen that these tickets EXIST but i can't find out if/when they are available to buy. Nothing I've read anywhere seem very CLEAR
    Does anyone know?

The fun epilogue to this tale is that they sent them to my old address anyway

Then took 5 phone calls and 3 weeks to retrieve them.

LIke Wimbledon, you have to buy tickets just to enter the park.

I believe the last batch went on sale 2 weeks ago, and they've all gone again. I'm not sure whether they'll release another batch before the event.

You won't be able to wander around without an actual park ticket I'm afraid.

I thought as much. I'll keep my eyes open but if not its not a problem if we can't go. I think they are just excited to go to London.

Could you get tickets for a crappy event like women's basketball or hockey? That would get you entry.

    Or there's always the Paralympics.

If the tickets were cheap enough then i'd definitely consider it. I'll have another look.
I did think about going during the Paralympics but its a bit close to my wedding date and the kids going back to school.
