    shocked UK X-Factor 2011

X Factor bosses are planning to axe Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh from the show, a report has claimed.

The pair, who had previously been told that they would need to reapply for their jobs, will allegedly get the boot to make way for a brand new judging panel.

According to the News of the World, Cheryl Cole will not judge the singing competition this year, nor will Simon Cowell - despite recent reports suggesting otherwise.

Lily Allen, Sharon Osbourne, Michael Buble, Lionel Richie and Ronan Keating are all said to be in the running to join the programme, while the likes of Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow will serve as guest judges. However, ITV execs are reportedly worried about the producers making such radical changes.

"If Simon and the other show bosses get their way this will be the most dramatic shake-up in X Factor history," a source said. "The producers are very excited by the idea of the show being entirely fresh.

"There is a view that Louis and Dannii are a bit tired and have offered all they can, especially Louis. But they'll be shocked to hear they may not be wanted. ITV is already taking a massive gamble by going ahead without Simon or Cheryl.

"Dispensing of Dannii and Louis would be madness. Viewers love Dannii especially. Simon has never understood how popular she is. It's important she is there, and for viewers to have a sense of familiarity."

Cowell will apparently make occasional appearances on the show, both via satellite and in person, and will be on the panel for the final. Dermot O'Leary will return as host.

You'd think that Lionel Richie would be better off on the USA panel. It's obviously imperative that Queen D is saved

    Ugh:

It's just BULL SHIT after BULL SHIT, that normally contradicts the bull shit that came before and is just as made up. Dreadful.

I could believe this if Cherly and Simon were staying on the panel, but as IF they'd replace all four permanent member and add a fifth judging position in the same year. God i hate tabloids and their made up sources SO MUCH.

I think Simon DOES understand how and why Dannii is so popular. What a silly article.

The Daily Mail have claimed that it's Gary Barlow, Lily Allen, Dannii and Louis this morning. It's just madness. I really want NO other artciles until the bloody lineup is announced as fact, and it will probably be the same four anyway!

I'm not sure about Lily Allen, her noted friend Alesha Dixon has begged her to appear as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing apparently.

Simon Cowell has become the master of OVERKILL.

It's just a really good throwaway TV show. That's all. You're not THAT FUCKING SPECIAL.

Lionel Richie might be good fun actually. He's a little bit MENTAL. Says bafflingly inappropriate cheesy things all the time like he never really comes out of performance mode. He reminds of Whitney in that respect.

But GOOD LORD Dannii needs to be in there. ABOVE ALL ELSE.

In, out, in, out, shake it all about...

Dannii Minogue will reportedly hold talks with X Factor bosses when she flies to the UK this week.

According to The Sun, Minogue will meet with producers and production company talkbackTHAMES to confirm her position as a judge for the next series of the ITV1 competition.

However, the main reason for the UK trip, on which she will be accompanied by boyfriend Kris Smith and their son Ethan, is said to be for meetings about her Project D fashion range.

"All signs are looking good and she has been told to keep her diary free for May for when the auditions take place," a show source told the paper.

Tabloid reports have claimed that both Minogue and Louis Walsh will be axed from the singing competition as bosses plan to create a new-look judging panel.

Simon Cowell held talks with ITV last week and is said to have confirmed that he will remain involved in the series.

I'd be QUITE HAPPY if Louis was finally shipped off to some kind of secure care facility where he can quietly live out the rest of his days without the obviously distressing experience of being forced to attempt to form coherent sentences.

It would also lessen the chances of further cameos from the Wicked Witch of the West L.A. botox and botulism clinic.

Part of me wants Louis to fuck away off cause he's such a TWAT but he does provide some comedy moments and it's always great watching him get the worst group and choosing HOT MESS contestants

Nah. Just leave him in a FIELD.

Although i quite like having him because he's SUCH a comedy dickhead, and a nice sitting duck target to keep the heat off poor Dannii. Although i sort of fear that he's still more popular than her with a lot of the general public

Louis is at least 1% part of the draw of the show for me. The fact he seems to be constantly taking the piss in his own deluded way and is about as clued up about popular culture as Mary Whitehouse, makes him a fantastic fall guy...

He seemed to cross the line into genuine alzheimer's territory last year. Half of what he said made ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.

"Can I buy dat on Itunes Simon?" was my personal favourite.

    This.

I like the fact that he spends half the time chuckling to himself and trying to wind up Simon, but never makes any sense. He also seems to back up Dannii these days, which is good.

One of my personal fave Louis moments was when he constantly said a contestant reminded him of Ricky GERVAAAAAY

Louis really is pretty essential to the show these days, he's such a lovable old fool. 'You remind me of a young Lenny Henry' was inspired though

Is Queen Beh in with a chance?

Mel B appeared to let slip in a radio interview yesterday that she will have a role on this year's X Factor.

The former Spice Girl revealed on Heart radio that she is planning to move back to the UK later this year for "quite some time" with her family.

She quickly added: "I don't think I was meant to say that though. Oh sorry, pregnant brain, maybe that was a secret."

When probed by presenter Jamie Theakston whether that meant she is replacing Cheryl Cole on the ITV1 talent show, she replied: "Maybe so... anyway... I'm in so much trouble, why did I do this interview? I don't talk about anything unless it's ready to go."

I'd go for Mel B, as long as it was to replace Cheryl

of course we all know that the only reason Cheryl isn't getting mentioned is because Simon is STILL trying to convince the US that she should be on that show, because he's a DELUDED OLD FOOL as well. Should Cheryl get the knock back (inevitable), she'll be back in London and the final seat will be between Mel B and Dannii.

    UGH

Here's some news from an ACTUAL named source for once:

Simon Cowell will not appear on a weekly basis on The X Factor, ITV chief Peter Fincham has confirmed.

Following a string of tabloid reports claiming that Cowell was quitting the UK show, Fincham - ITV's director of television - told The Sunday Mirror that the media mogul's role "will not be as great as previous years".

"We have been in constant negotiations with Simon about ways in which we can move things forward and help The X Factor evolve," Fincham said in a statement.

"We have been aware that his on-screen ginvolvement in this series will not be as great as gprevious years for months now. It is something that we are gcompletely gcomfortable with.

"We are talking to him about ways he can have an on-screen presence later in the show. He will not be a weekly judge, but he will be an enormous presence backstage as always."

However, Fincham insisted: "Some of the speculation about us pleading with Simon to be a judge makes me smile. I constantly hear we are in crisis but in reality we have an amazingly gconstructive relationship with Simon and are very much reading from the same page."
There's also some business-as-usual bollocks from an 'insider' as well, don't panic!

Kimberley Walsh is on the verge of signing a contract to host this year's Xtra Factor, an insider claims.

According to The Sunday Mirror, the 29-year-old - who has been the tabloid frontrunner for the role - has been backed by fellow Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole.

Yesterday a supposed ITV insider said: "Kimberley is the girl X Factor bosses want for the job.

"She has all the right ingredients - she looks great, she's feisty, can hold her own and, most gimportantly, has been a success in the music industry.

"Cheryl gave producers a glowing reference telling them she would be brilliant for the show. Kimberley is the frontrunner and is in final talks. It is virtually a done-deal."

However, an ITV spokesperson said: "No decision has been made. Several names are in the hat."

Those names could include Jeff Brazier, Georgie Thompson, Stacey Solomon and most recently Laura Hamilton.
"The few who understand me and learn from me will be wise beyond belief" - Lauren Harries

The Saturdays star Frankie Sandford has reportedly held talks with X Factor bosses about joining the show.

According to The Sun, producers are said to have been impressed by the singer's looks and her willingness to give opinions and believe that she could be the right choice to replace Cheryl Cole - whose future on the show remains unconfirmed.

Cole is still waiting to find out if Simon Cowell has convinced Fox network executives if she is the right person to judge the upcoming US version of the show.

"Frankie has all the right ingredients for an X Factor judge," a source told the paper. "She looks great, she can hold her own and she's been there. The Saturdays have had to work hard so she knows what the wannabes are going through."

The insider added: "Just like Cheryl, she is young and glamorous and someone the contestants can relate to."
