    shocked

I'd take it with a pinch of salt, but according to different informations circulating on Twitter, the physical album is already sold out by most retailers accross the U.S, Canada AND the UK...

It was #1 in my local Black Market that only sells homemade CD-R's with crappy covers and include bonus track exclusives such as Just Dance and Starstruck

Different tweets indicate big stores like HMV are sold out, maybe they just didn't order ENOUGH...

Could this turn into that TIDAL WAVE we LOONS were praying for??

Also apparently Wal-Mart contributed to some street-date violations over the weekend (around 10k sales according to HDD), meaning the album could debut in the top 50 this week. Could that mean biggest 2nd week sales for an album ever?

Does anyone know what that stands at? I'm guessing it's the 811, 298 sold by *N Sync with No Strings Attached.

Not sure about second week but in non-first week sales I know Creed did 865k in their fifth week or so and Beatles '1' did 824k in a week about a month after its release

HDD: GAGA'S AMAZING AMAZON SALE: Today’s unprecedented sale of the new Lady Gaga album, Born This Way, for 99 cents at Amazon has the disc threatening the digital download record of 288k set by Coldplay’s Viva la Vida. Label chief Steve Berman's thorough campaign has the record blowing out everywhere, with first-week sales estimates ranging from 750k to a high of a million. Meanwhile, iTunes, selling the regular version at $11.99 and $15.99 for the deluxe, had already threatened to pull down its splash page advertising for the album if it appeared on any other competing digital site, particularly its chief rival, though so far, the disc is still being promoted by Apple. Insiders are applauding Amazon for the loss-leader move, which is seen as a way of promoting its new cloud service. Will Soundscan count the 99-cent downloads in its total for Gaga? (5/23p)

I have a feeling this will go over 1 million, their predictions (first 750k-1m, now 900k second day in) is following the same trend T-Swift's did. I wonder if this will surpass Taylor's sales

Checking it out, it would surely be 'The Eminem Show' which was released a few days early - I'm not sure how the sales were counted but it seems that the 1,320,000 copies it sold are allotted to its second week on the chart, not first.

    Put your paws up bitches

I'm so glad; "Judas" is one of the best songs of the last twenty years, and "Edge of Glory" could perhaps be one of the greatest of all time.

Despite selling enough to chart around the top 50 on this week's US Billboard 200 album chart, Interscope has decided to delay the debut of the album until next week when it will come in at #1. Billboard gives label's this choice when albums are able to debut early off of street date violations.

So does that means this week's sales will be moved over to next week's total too?

No, the SDV sales won't count toward any future weekly chart but will rather just appear as a part of Soundscan's cumulative total sales of the album.

Amazon dropping the price to $0.99 again on Thursday must have helped. They really WANT that record
