The debut had AMAZING songs on it. This is pretty nice too. Looking forward to an album.
Michelle Branch - Loud Music
After years of negotiations between her label, Michelle Branch is finally getting ready to release her third studio album this fall. Branch will release the album on her own label, Sticks n' Stones Recordings Ltd and it will distributed through Reprise Records. Here we have the first single titled "Loud Music" which she premiered yesterday on a special webcast with her fans. The up-beat pop/rock track was written and produced with James Irvin and Julian Emery. A video for the single will be shot at the end of the month with a digital release scheduled for Tuesday (June 14).

GOD she has been stop starting for what feels like FOREVER.
this one is probably my favourite of the BUZZ singles, the chorus is GORGEOUS. and i like the cover.i'm glad she didn't stick with the Timbaland route.
fingers crossed this is IT this time and we finally get an album.
Yeah the Timbaland collab (although decent for what it was) wasn't GELLING, and the shelved country album wasn't doing her any favors this bitch is made for pop-rock/Hot AC formats
Anyway I am REALLY liking the song on first listen, it's laid back, radio friendly and damn instant. It's FEEL GOOD too, right in time for Summer. Bad news is that she hasn't had a solo hit in EIGHT YEARS. She might as well be FEFE DOBSON for all pop radio cares.
Album title reveal
Hope this actually comes out as planned, I am really digging "Loud Music" and am looking forward to an album, I bought the Hotel Paper CD on its FIRST DAY OUTMichelle Branch
Well, for those who weren't watching VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live today, the new album is called West Coast Time and comes out in September!
i am VERY EXCITED. i loved "hotel paper".
Listening to "The Spirit Room"
The first 4 singles are really amazing songs. I can't believe she never made it out of Avril's shadow.
She already had a couple of big hits under her belt before Avril came along, I guess she just got lost in the shuffle. She had the great pop singles but Avril sold more because she connected to the kids/young teenagers better than Michelle could. I'd say she was more comparable to Vanessa Carlton, although Vanessa was more of a one-hit wonder

BTW Does anyone here know Lesley Roy? She was a promising act musically very similar and with quite a big record deal, but she seemed to have disappeared.
It's supposed to come out today in HQ and I CANNOT FIND IT, fuck Michelle

Is she the one that is a super-bitch to her fans? I forget.
