It's really odd... I feel like it's half-shocking and half-inevitable. I mean there is only so much abuse the body can take before it gives way and everybody knows she's been totally neglectful of that fact for years now but at the same time she was stumbling around on stage drunk barely a month ago making headlines and she's still so young (or was). It's hard to know how to feel about it really.

I am really quite shocked by this, even though its not really shocking news. I've followed her from the start of her career, and I guess she is one of the few celebrities (if not the first, aside from Jade Goody) that I have seen from the beginning and now end of her career. Not to mention she isn't too far away from my own age. It feels weird.
This is really awfully tragic, although perhaps sadly inevitable.

I think there must have been things her family and friends could've done for her but didn't for whatever reason. Her father is just a self-publicising idiot anyway. I don't mean to sound callous but they really could've made her go to rehab and stay there but nobody did.
