I quite like "Echo" but there is absolutely NO doubting that there really isn't a single to come close to "Bleeding Love", "Better In Time" or "Run" on it- THAT'S the problem
It's been too long, it's been too long...
A Leona version would have been lovely.![]()
I don't think 'Halo' is anywhere close to the same league as 'Bleeding Love', but also I think Beyoncé's delivery OF the song is really what makes it. I don't believe Leona would have been able to do anything much with it at all
Apparently, she has teamed up with Calvin Harris on a new track. Only yesterday, apparently she was moaning about another track leaking online and that she would share her music when its ready. The thing is after two delays, when will it be ready?
She should be flattered anybody cares enough to leak her shit!

Leona shows some major enthusiasm about her forthcoming third album:
And AS IF it will be out by "Summer"The squeaky clean former X Factor winner is planning an eclectic comeback that will see her try out many ‘different flavours’.
‘At the moment I’m just finishing up my album so I’m hoping it will be out in the summer,’ the star told me.
‘I’ve got a track that’s got a bit of drum’n’bass at the end. It’s quite different to what I’ve had out before.
‘I’ve got a track that’s very 90s. It’s just different influences that I’ve had through my life growing up,’ explained the 26-year-old singer.
Simon Cowell’s pro-tégée said she was trying to do things differently on her third album, Glassheart. Rather than collaborate with lots of technicians like she has in the past, this time there’s just one executive producer at the helm.
‘I’m really actually looking forward to people hearing it,’ she added.

Sorry but does anyone else see a big black cock in Leona's Facebook profile picture?

I'd forgotten about that!![]()
She performed a new song called from the album called 'Come Alive' at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend:
The chorus sounds pretty good, the verses less so, but it's not the best quality version.
'Sue, did the President call?' ... 'No' Last.fm
I love it! She's clearly been taking tips from Tina Barrett because I hear more than a SPRINKLING of DUBSTEP in there
Here's the full set:

She really has the crowd in the palm of her hand, doesn't she?
"Yeah how's everyone feeling!" to be the new "Are you READY - to be - ENTERTAINED" for 2012![]()

I have to say she was really quite good on this, her version of run still gives me goosebumps and considering how bland she is I thought it was nice 30 minutes of saturday afternoon entertainment. Collide was surprisingly excellent and I loved her version of coming home.
Come on hackney JUMP!
shine like a disco ball...
Just reading that setlist it sounds like a mess, Leona is NOT a personality artiste so her doing something like Man Down just sounds ludicrous.
Having now watched Man Down it really doesn't suit her at all.

Watching that made me cringe ever so slightly - she just looks so LAME in that setting! She was struggling with a lot of the higher notes as well, which isn't something I've ever heard from her before. Run was great though.
She needs to do a LOT of work on her lower register. That ain't SINGING love, it's MUMBLING. You ain't a Toni Braxton tribute act!
kyoko, it's me
Is it me or does it look like she hasn't pulled in a great crowd?
My favourite bit is when the big balls are released into the crowd and they just blow away (and onto the stage).
Bleeding Love looks like a damp squib
Collide is a bit better
New single Trouble will be out in October, followed by the album (ALLEGEDLY)
kyoko, it's me
Must have been all the extra security I was reading about on the BBC News website - Hackney people couldn't be trusted to enter the festival without WEAPONS apparently.
An English cover version of this will be recorded:
4 RCA Various Artists: Leona, Labrinth, Alex Burke, Chipmunk - "Trilogy (Our Love Triangle)" (English version of "Trilogy" by KnomJean, WAii, Gavin)

Her trying to develop some sort of personality isn't quite working is it:
Digital SpyLeona Lewis has revealed that she raps on her new material.
The X Factor winner is due to release her third album Glassheart on October 15."On my new album I will be rapping. I've discovered my voice for rapping," she told fans in a live stream.
''I could probably go up against Nicki Minaj now. I'm actually that good, so I'm coming for you Nicki!" she joked. "London-style MCing.''
Her new record also includes dubstep and dance tracks, as well as a song called 'Trouble' written by Emeli Sandé.
She previewed 'Come Alive' at the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend in June, telling Digital Spy: "We wanted to do an uptempo song, but for it to remain true to what I do. We added a tiny bit of dubstep and drum and bass and just rocked it."
When asked whether the track is a good indication of the rest of the album, she responded: "It's definitely a piece of it, but there's much more quiet-sounding instrumentals. The album is a good mixture of programmed synths and live music."

The video for "Trouble", the proper lead single (will "Collide" even be on the album?), will be shot in two weeks and probably out by early September.
And Leona said they plan on releasing and promoting the single/album in the UK before they release it anywhere else. I think this will be a good thing.
God I can't wait for this - I've not been on Moopy during a Leona album campaign yet, and I'm considering looning the FUCK out for the remainder of the year![]()

LEONA RAPPING?
I love the idea of Leona drinking a soy latte with a double shot-té.CHRIST ON A BIKE.

As long as Glassheart THE SONG is still on the album (and I wouldn't BET on it given this thing's tortured lifecycle) I'll be nailing the rap parts as much as she wants
I'd love to see her live too, Tisch - if she tours this album we could base a Moopmeet around it (with VoR as the guest of honour OF COURSE)

SORT OF GOSSIP. but my mum's hospital keeps asking Leona to do things (as it's Hackney and she's a Hackney girl) and she keeps saying NO. WHATTABITCH. Trying to hide her EAST LANDAN roots no doubt.![]()
Clearly still employing the "what would Madonna do" rule when it SUITS.
