yeh me too
So what did we think of this cover then?
More importantly, where are the BOYS in this perf?!
maybe lee didn't want to sing about knowing a guy so well and H didn't want to confirm that he's a big flaming BENDER
WHAT DID I SAY?
I always thought they did a marvelous rendition of this. I really like it.
It was good once, I didn't need it to be wheeled out again and again to give the girls an excuse to warble on tour
I loved this; though that may have been part due to the fact that it was in my most recent Piano Grade book and I could play it really well (not that there is all that much to it)
It's like you're screaming . . . and no one can hear;
you almost feel ashamed . . . that someone could be that important
I've always found it a totally unnecessary cover and not particularly good one either.
'Sue, did the President call?' ... 'No' Last.fm
I love it. Not their best by any means but a solid stab, and their live vocals I always think are actually rather decent.
It's not bad vocally (except Lisa, NATCH) but why bother covering something like this in the first place? I know it was for a tv show and ALL THAT but the original is vocally so SUPERIOR, they were never going to compete...
It's been too long, it's been too long...
Almighty mix, obv.
omgies shampoo are totes cool when i was 17 back in 94 i totally wanted to be them even tho i was boy. but now i'm a girl so it all worked out alright really!
Not their finest moment, unfortunately coupled with Words Are Not Enough this made it the weakest single. In 2001 each of their four singles were double a sides, with three of the tracks being covers and one being a remix. They were stretched too far and being turned into a covers act with their management seemingly looking for that next Tragedy. It would've been interesting to see what came in the following years if they hadn't split when they did.
Won't somebody out there hear my SOS...
Chain Reaction wasn't a double A-Side was it?
A normal person must
Dismiss you with disgust
And weep for those who trusted you.
They chucked the US Mix of One For Sorrow on as the other A-Side

Yes, the Tony Moran remix of One For Sorrow was the other track. A decent club version but it could never touch the original, it was missing that middle 8 dance break for a start.
Here they are performing it on Top Of The Pops in 2001
Won't somebody out there hear my SOS...
