Well, let's wait until the end of Davis Cup etc. and so forth and so on.

I'm thinking about doing a blog entry called 13 predictions for 2013. Corny as fuck but that's the best I'm able to think of.

The first full entry lists come out next week I believe, so the general 2013 season thread can be started then if someone (or I can again) wants to do it.

2012 is not officially over yet, still got the David Cup final... which could affect some things (like Gasquet/Almagro top 10 finish). I will try to conclude the results of the 2012 game over the weekend and will start a new one for 2013 after that.

Berdych is really fluctuating quality-wise in this match. Almagro is keeping it at one level - will be interesting to see if Berdych can FINALLY take advantage of this lovely fast court in the fifth set.

Berdych managed to finally hit a few winners here and there rather than just being ALL SERVE. Cze-Esp are levelled after day one.

And it's just dawned on me how hideously UNSEXY the 2nd half of 2012 was. COME BACK SOON SVETA

How is Almagro ranked so high? I never see him win a match.

Which sends him out of the Top10 and - wait for it - Gasquet into the Top10

It's lovely, isn't it? I was never a massive fan or anything but she was always a really fair competitor and a lovely girl both on and off court I thought.

I liked Dulko and for a player of her ranking she was reasonably well known MAINLY COS SHE WAS FIT (but also as said a bit of a giant killer).

I genuinely feel like Gasquet is more suited to top 10 than Almagro.
