Kerber d. Li 64 62
Indian Wells Thursday schedule
Stadium 1 11:00
Bartoli v Ivanovic
Djokovic v Almagro
Sharapova v Kirilenko
Simon v Isner (Not before 7:00)
Great stuff for Kerber.
Her game continues to puzzle me though. If you look at her, you'd expect someone with booming groundstrokes, average movement and a good lefty serve when she's actually got some raw power in her groundstrokes, though no MASSIVE shot, brilliant movement and an incredibly average serve for someone ranked Top20.

Ivanovic takes set one against Bartoli - 63. God she's playing some gorgeous stuff when she's on like today or against Woz.

Sharapova won in 3 against Kirilenko
Friday schedule
Stadium 1 1:00
Del Potro v Federer
Nalbandian v Nadal
Azarenka v Kerber (Not before 6:00)
Sharapova v Ivanovic
The first two sets were HIGHLY entertaining. I decided to head to bed afterwards.

Nothing like a bit of hindrance when serving to stay in the set!
there are things worse in life than never being someone's sweetie.
That was AMAZING. I love watching Kirilenko but that goes down as one of the most IDIOTIC and UNSPORTMANSHIP-LIKE things I've witnessed of late.
Mind, good umpiring from the third Maria in the chair who was having NONE of Kirilenko's little tantrum. Stupid bitch would've won the point without pulling that shit cause Sharapova went for the wrong corner again.

What a strange thing to do. If she was doing it to throw Sharapova she surely knew that umpire lady would hear it too, so she was never going to win a point by doing it.
Nadal beat Nalbandian in 3 - so Roger vs Rafa in the semis.
Azarenka d. Kerber 64 63
Sharapova d. Ivanovic 64 01 retired
Saturday schedule

Federer v Nadal

I hope Ivanovic will be ok in time for Miami. She was looking good for most of the week.
I like both Ana and Angelique but it's great to have the Top2 seeds in the finals at such a big tournament.

First time the world No.1 and No.2 have faced off in a final since 2008 - that's got to be a great thing. Hope Azarenka continues her unbeaten record.
Djokovic - Isner 6-7
Entertaining first set. I'm not a big fan of Isner's tennis because it relies strongly on his serve but nice to see he can do much more than that.
Isner d. Djokovic 76 36 76
Isner will move into the top 10 for the first time with this win.
Great performance by Isner. I don't really enjoy watching serve machines like him, Karlovic or Roanic massively but he did a great job today. Novak with a missed shot here or there but except for that IDIOTIC challenge in set one at 5-4 30:40 he didn't do much wrong.

The WTA tour draw kicks some SERIOUS ARSE.
Nothing to see here MOVE ALONG.
Really hope Baltacha can get through round 1 for two reasons: 1. Zhang knocked out both Robson AND Watson last week and I don't want her knocking out a 3rd Brit in 2 weeks! and 2. Because she's said her life-long ambition is to play one of the Williams sisters (preferably Serena) and she would get her in Round 2.
That quarter is crazy competitive anyways, Clijsters, Serena, Wozniacki, Stosur and maybe Gools if she actually shows up.
Nothing to see here MOVE ALONG.
yep definitely the toughest quarter.
There's also footage of Kirilenko getting a hindrance warning against Scheepers last year on YouTube. I saw her first hand being extremely rude tithe far superior Amy Frazier too on the practice courts so always found her unlikeable. Shame as she has quite a watchable game when she's not faux shrieking.
Heather Watson came through to beat Sorana Cirstea from 6-3 3-6 0-5... Cirstea missed two match points serving at 5-4. Great win for Watson, equalling her best win ever (and coming from 0-5 in the final set I'd say it's actually her biggest win ever).
