They 'smashed it', made it their own and Bananarama went down the pub presumably. They video was great, at least seeing it whilst in Ibiza in 1998 at the time was pretty exciting to me. It really suits Faye.
I've heard it played three times in the Rovers Return on Coronation Street over the last few weeks. Once the scene lasted so long it was played twice in a row, then again on Monday night's episode. Exciting.
It's probably one of their less remembered singles, always seems be glossed over in favour of 5,6,7,8, One For Sorrow and Tragedy in that era. Personally it's one of my favourites.

Won't somebody out there hear my SOS...

Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?
Actually to be fair you may be right as far as the UK goes. Over here the only ones people know by name are Tragedy and 5678, with "Last Thing on My Mind" and "One For Sorrow" being recognised when they come on (in a "oh they sang this? I know this!") kind of way.
When I go downstairs to make my revision reward of an obscenely brightly coloured cocktail, I'll do a quick straw poll of my flatmates if they're still up to see which Steps songs they remember.
I like my life sometimes.![]()
I just can't UNDERSTAND why they get fed up of hearing their songs!
