Doesn't the colon hydrotherapist tell you off if you've been eating a non-balanced diet though? I bet they wouldn't be impressed.

That said, two of my friends have been waxing lyrical for so long about the joy of colonics, that I AM going to give it a go. Apparently you can lose two inches off your waist too. ALL THAT SHIT.

I do not think I would enjoy the tummy massage part at all. I mean, really, loosening the bowels is not something I'd ever expect to do in a room with someone else in it.

I keep meaning to have a colonic just to see if it works. The whole thing seems like it would be highly embarrassing.

I'm 5ft 10 and currently 12 stone 6. I am usually about 12 stone or thereabouts. Staying in hotels for work and eating out every night has taken its toll a little...

I'm only a stone lighter than you. I'd like to maybe lost 7 lbs as I'm not doing as much cardio as I usually do, just weights and my usual diet.

    Certainly is:

    INGREDIENTS

    2tbsp olive oil

    ● Knob of butter

    ● 2 white onions, sliced

    ● 3 cloves garlic, chopped

    ● 1 head of fennel, chopped

    ● 3 sticks celery, chopped

    ● 1 green poblano chilli, deseeded and chopped (or use a green pepper)

    ● 3-4 coriander stalks and roots, chopped

    ● 7 heads fresh corn, kernels removed

    ● 1ltr (1¾pt) vegetable stock (or water)

    ● 1 shallot, finely chopped

    ● Juice of 1 lime

    ● Sea salt and black pepper

    TO SERVE

    ● 100ml (3½fl oz) sour cream

    ● 2tbsp chopped coriander leaves

    METHOD

1 Heat the oil and butter in a pan until foaming, add the onions, garlic, fennel, celery, chilli, coriander and two-thirds of the corn. Stir and cook over a medium heat for 10 minutes until softened.

2 When the onion is translucent, cover with the stock. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the vegetables soften. Purée in a blender until smooth.

3 Sauté the shallot and remaining corn kernels over a high heat for a few minutes and add to the soup. Serve in bowls with a swirl of sour cream and coriander.

I just use frozen sweetcorn btw.

Lamb steak and bacon cut into pieces, baby potatoes diced and kidney beans all stir-fried together, then some sort of curry paste added. I really MUST go to Tesco.

What kind of cheese was on your sandwich, RB?

I need to shake up my meals a bit been increasing calories hoping it will go to my muscles - not convinced so far

Oatmeal with almond butter and banana
    3x fried eggs
    4x coffee
    Lentils with caramelized onions, hummus
    Carrot and red pepper (raw)
artichoke heart steamed with homemade balsamic vinaigrette (put way too much vinegar and mustard in this)
Sandwich with veggie burger, egg, red pepper paste, pesto, avocado, ketchup, mustard
    Blueberry Greek yogurt
    A few black olives
1/2 sandwich with assorted veggies inc. portobello mushroom, goat cheese, cooked pineapple
    Balsamic roasted tofu
    Honey roasted sweet potato
Spring mix salad with quinoa, walnuts, tomato, mushroom, onion, red cabbage
Peanut butter frozen yogurt with pieces of coffee flavored dark chocolate
Half of a leftover Belgian waffle
    Plum

Went a bit crazy toward the end, admittedly
