Protein, fiber and antioxidants but they're a carb at the end of the day

    Porridge in the morning.
2 Eggs on grandary bread at around 3pm.
I was going to have a tuna steak later but am just not hungry at all. I'm going to be up very late typing so may have a 'midnight feast'. It's frozen and from Iceland, so will be about the size of a 50p coin once it's cooked.

Don't you need to eat them WITH more carbs (ie, bread or pasta) for your body to get the protein from them?

I'm really not SURE. I don't think it has all of the amino acids that make up a quality protein but then again MOST vegetarian-friendly proteins lack that. The only veggie carb that I can think of that has all of those essential amino acids to muscles present is QUINOA

I cooked steak for the first time today. And it was actually amazing. I might get some more RIGHT NOW.

I am aware of that at the age of 31, I really should have done this before.

I've just made an Open Steak & Ale pie, roast carrots, wilted greens and trimmed beans.

    Fucking lush it was.

Yet another saturday night I am sat here in my pants being middle aged. I'm getting FUCKED UP next weekend.

    I made a fish-based Cambodian curry tonight

It was probably better than anything anybody else here ate today.

It was Ramsey, the git. Found it online though:

    http://www.skytv.co.nz/Default.aspx?...5&art_id=36019

The lemongrass paste is freshly made with lemongrass, garlic, tumeric and oil.

And i used cod instead of monkfish because the latter is fooking expensive.

Something tells me you're being facetious.

I did actually buy some fresh vegetables AND a packet of frozen ones today.

Frozen veg and half a veg stock cube sprinkled on top whilst stir-frying is delicious. I'm on a budget.

Granola for breakfast with added pecans and Brazil nuts.
Tuna Steak, mixed veg (FROZEN and NON-FROZEN of course), pine nuts, diced feta cheese, garlic, olives, lime squeezed over it, with some cajun too. I'm so full after it.

    RIGHT

Mardi Gras is in three weeks and it's a nice goal to aim for. So gym (almost) every day and eating properly until then. Yesterday was:

    3 eggs
    A skimmed latte
    200g organic vanilla yoghurt
2 x pieces Ryvita with peanut butter
A protein shake (after the gym)
Thai chicken salad with balsamic dressing
    A banana
200g of roast kangaroo (so healthy!) with 5 pieces of tenderstem broccoli
A small handful of macadamia nuts

All I've had today is salmon on bread with ketchup. It was delicious. I haven't not ate on purpose, I've just been really lazy watching TV shows I downloaded. However, I'm about to go to the gym so hope I don't feel faint.

    Three eggs
    A skimmed latte
    A roast chicken breast
Tuna salad wrap (with eggs, feta and sweet potatoes - very good!)
    100g turkey breast
    An apple and pineapple juice
A beefburger from the healthy burger place (lean meat, brown bread, all that business)
2 scoops of peanut butter ice-cream

It veered off course towards the end of the day

I ate my first bagel today. I suppose it was nice, but the cheese was wayyyy too strong and kept getting on my hands, so I couldn't finish.
