The graphics looked rather shit in quite a few of these scenes, also we get a three playable males and no Jill (well if it's blonde Jill then no).
5 was TERRIBLE. I played it for 2 hours and sent it back

i never finished 5, i spent all my ammo on the fight where you didn't need ammo and then thanks to the auto save couldn't go back and i ended up getting slaughtered by Wesker.
I enjoyed RE5 for what it was because you can't go terribly wrong aping one of the best games ever, but it's true that there wasn't an inch of excitement in it. The problem with the franchise is that it's mutating into something completely different from what it was originally. RE6 looks SCHIZOPHRENIC with its mixture of survival horror, action game, Gears of Wars and Devil May Cry.
I don't know what to think about that. I loved RE5, but they said they were getting away from the style of 4 & 5 and going for something different. I was really hoping they were going to use the reaction to the RE5 downloadable content as a way forward. This just looks like more of the same!

I'm just glad that Zombies are back in, now all I need is the puzzle element to return and I'll be happy. I used to love the Dizzy games and the original resident evil was reminiscent of this, I want my games to challenge me mentally and not just be a mindless shooter!

Leon reminds me of a young Leo DiCaprio so that's a NO from me. Chris can tickle my nuts anytime (although he seems to be the most humourless guy on the RE planet). I'd fuck Barry.
Lost in Nightmares was great but to be honest they are NEVER coming back to that style again, that was a one off for the mental fanz. If Leon's sections in this are tense and scary we can be thankful.
Somehow Leon ended up the more flushed lead even though we're saddled with Chris every other game, as long as i don't see Claire again i'm happy.

Release date moved up to October 2nd and the protagonists and Leon (who is the focus), Chris aaaaaaand Wesker's sonand features the return on Sherry from Resi 2. Also added jumping and moving while shooting.

I assumed Leon asking Chris not to shoot was because it's Ada (the one that got away...etc.)? The fan forums all seem to suggest it's her too. Of course, you're more than likely right, but all of the signs point to her.

Downloaded the public demo tonight. This is SHIT! And that's coming from someone who loved RE5, easily one of my fave PS3 games. Chris' scenario on the demo feels like Call of Duty on PS2. Crap controls, crap graphics, crap cover system, crap inventory, silly obstacles, etc. Everything that some people (not me) disliked in RE5 is actually much worse on this one. There's no way in hell this is getting good reviews, unless the final version is significantly improved. Before the demo it was going to be a day one purchase for me. Now it will depend on reviews and definitely not before it hits the bargain bins. Fucking hell.

Play the demo guys and draw your own conclusions. I replayed it last night and it' still shit. And I don't mean "it's not RE anymore but still a good game type of shit" I mean "shit under any circunstances". I know the demo is kinda old but still, I loved the RE5 demo to bits. Roll in the (unbiased) reviews.
I heard AWFUL things about the original demo that came with Dragons Dogma, but haven't heard much about this one

As far as people are concerned, from what I read, Resident Evil as you knew it from the past is dead. Time to abandon many a favourite old franchise from the old generation and start looking for all things new.
Japanese Survival Horror isn't really being made any more either, so you'd need to go and pick up something like Amnesia The Descent on PC for some real chills.
