This must open huge after the Superbowl.

34 million. Bloody hell, that's incredible. I'm guessing a new song wasn't performed?
Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?
Great!

i realise people probably don't care but after the Super Bowl that's an ok number, Undercover Boss two years ago did better. it will all depend on next week to see if they rise over last year's numbers or go back to the same (which will still be good).
Did anyone catch the episode? X-Tina was hilariously bad trying to be funny with Adam and instead coming off like a total bitch (quelle surprise) and the guy from the Micky Mouse Club was obviously the producers trying to create a moment except that they forgot that Conceptina probably never noticed the guy before.
I didn't realise this was back already and going up against American Idol; I hope it holds up well next week
It's like you're screaming . . . and no one can hear;
you almost feel ashamed . . . that someone could be that important

I'm still surprised why they didn't bother promoting either Javier or Dia's albums last year, such a waste
Second episode 17 mil and 6.6 demonow that's success and Smash did a very good 3.8.
Ha, only Christina would tell a man in front of his WIFE that Britney used to fancy him
I love the 'She wouldn't mind me telling you that...' *too late to take it back anyway look*

I love Christina. Going on and on about Adam always wanting to be the center of attention which in turns makes her the center of attention. She just doesn't know when to shut up but that's what makes this such great viewing. American Idol is good but it doesn't really compare to this.
Is this still not available to watch in the UK? I know they want to protect the format to benefit the UK version but COME ON!![]()
Ms Chris BRANGING IT AS PER
Love you baby (Vanity fans will get the REF)![]()
FEARLESS FEMALE
How has the US public reacted to Chrissie on this show?
They bled down their legs in unison to show their GLEE.
My favourite from episode one was probably Christina proclaiming: "I KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH A REAL VOCALIST"
BAM.

Bless Oblivioustina not knowing until a producer screamed in her ear to go meet her ex colleague

This is without a doubt the best singing competition on television. I don't know if it's just the great coach casting in the US version, or the relatively new format, but it's a joy to watch.
Our version will of course be absolute shit.
God I could watch that clip of Guesswhotina ALL DAY
FEARLESS FEMALE
LOVING this comment from the DM article on The Voice
Christina Aguilera is an enigma to me. She exhibits so much control and discipline in her voice and career, yet she can't exercise the same level of control over the excessive food and alcohol she puts in her mouth, and she lacks the discipline to hire a trainer and give up the sedentary lifestyle that has made her obese. I hope she can get it together, because although she has the reputation of being an absolutely deplorable person, she is very talented.![]()

FEARLESS FEMALE
What's the consensus on here among the US public now that she's got this Voice exposure POP? Is she LIKED?
kyoko, it's me
I think people have warmed to her a BIT as a PERSONALITY. To say that she's the STAR of the show as far as the public's concerned might be stretching it, but I think it's certainly a start considering her arrest, album flopping, divorce, and reputation as a drunk hot mess probably isn't the BEST PR. "Moves Like Jagger" certainly helped just as much, if not more so. It's really all about how well this single goes down.

The fact that she's the only woman on the panel does her a massive favour as well.
FEARLESS FEMALE
I thought she came across REALLY WELL in that clip, and i've always found her UTTERLY RANCID as a popstar.
I've never really paid much attention to this show but it looks good. GreyGooseTina did seen nice there, tho she was probably really going backstage using it as cover to check on the bar supply
Those chairs look nice
Why do I have the feeling the Uk one will be as devoid of atmosphere as Fame Academy?

Bless Christina and her oversinging heart...
Oh, I REALLY didn't GET Mathai. She's absolutely got the look and the on-stage persona, but I found her voice verging on caterwauling, unpleasant and sharp at times.
Some of the highlights of the battle rounds...
Also X-tina was out cunted by the super annoying Charlotte Sometimes (WTF is that name)
Charlotte was THE WORST so far. Genuinely dislikable. Out in the first live round FOR SURE.
