Elisabeth Troy? Retro? SURELY NOT. I thought they'd stuck her in a BOX when SPEED GARAGE DIED.
I shall listen to this later.
I initially dismissed this as generic synth-house pap when I saw it playlisted everywhere, but IT'S NOT...
retro house, this type with italo-piano riffs and a jungle beat, I mean HELLO 1991!

Top up, Sue?
Oh I had meant to post about this... I fucking love it!
It's like Livin' Joy and Baby D never happened...
It's fabulous. I keep trying to listen for clues that give away that it isn't actually from the 90s.
Top up, Sue?
I would seriously LOVE someone to pop this into Moopy's Latest 90s Compilation album.
I expect it's TOO EARLY.
I cant get hold of it myself. They seem to be keeping this gem very much GIFT WRAPPED
even the YouTube clip is a radio rip... I wonder if they'll do a video.
There is a video for this now:
I really like this. This wouldn't have even sounded out of place in 2000, it's that hip!
YOUTH IN TROUBLE
I suspect this is going to be a HUGE HIT.
The single version like all good 90s dance records only teases the piano house riff and covers it in vocal. Therefore any extended mix will be the LIVING TITS of ALL HUMANITY.
I do need to an extended intro of THAT piano intro. Oh MY.
I am currently plugging this to anyone who'll listen
Okay MASSIVELY late on this but my sister introduced it to me a few days ago. Can't get enough of it. Should have been HUGE.
It's the early 90's all over again
It's easily in my top 10 of the year SO FAR...
dance music has made a MASSIVE resurgance this year and this track might actually be the best of them ALL. I heard it in the gym yesterday and it has not lost ANY of its magic.
too early to say but this is going to feature HIGHLY in my end of year FUNKY AWARDS![]()
Still utterly fantastic. If you'd told me it was a lost classic from 1994 I'd believe you.
