What's confusing? We just find the heart of the prison and the dragon who speaks without walls, and we're home free. Simple.

I wasn't a fan of I Wanna either, but at least I could understand why people could find that performance enjoyable. I still don't understand how Malta could finish second. It's not bad, but there was nothing memorable about it.

Presumably the big question is in what order will "Främling", "Fångad av en stormvind" and "Invincible" finish inside the Top 3?

    But yes, bring it on!

Tempting. But I'm going to do my very best to be as objective as possible, not least to try and be a bit less predictable.

    Remember I TOLD you

I can only assume this hasn't HAPPENED yet because RB needs to reshuffle his results to make room for Kaliopi and Sofu in his top 5. Understandable.

Are you including 2012 songs too?

Is any Spanish entry making the list? Just wondering.

I can't speak for RB, but I would be VERY surprised if QC doesn't make the top 75.

I hope there'll be some Dutch classics. We really did have some good entries, although I don't think our 4 winners are the most loved.

That list is NOT to be taken entirely serious.

I reckon both Quedate Conmigo and Euphoria will feature in his Top10.

I still don't have the order completed. It's taking a bit more time than anticipated. This is SERIOUS STUFF.

I wouldn't be able to do this, impossible to rank my favourite ones, too many great songs.

Btw I was thinking of doing a top 20 (or so) of my favourite (non winning) songs from Spanish Preselections, i think you all might discover some hidden gem, anyone interested?

Given the preparation it took, I think we are to be astonished by the quality of the production.

Are we ready for our first five songs?

    75. Deen - "In The Disco"

    (Bosnia & Herzegovina - 2004)

    9th in the final

    Spoiler: Video

Oh, Deen... you spoil us! There is so much that is brilliant about this entry, from fiercely heterosexual Deen's performance of a lifetime, to the hot tranny dancers (including a Natalie Scooch lookalike), to the fact it's from BOSNIA. Camp Eurovision perfection.

    74. Corinne Hermès - "Si la vie est cadeau"

    (Luxembourg - 1983)

    Winner

    Spoiler: Video

1983 was a blinder of a contest, and I'm not sure this should necessarily have won (more on the other contenders later ) but it's a dramatic and wonderful power ballad nonetheless. Corinne delivers a spectacular vocal too, not that her competitors didn't, but this is a worthy Eurovision winner and one I definitely have grown to enjoy a lot over the last few years.

    73. Sakis Rouvas - "This Is Our Night"

    (Greece - 2009)

    7th in the final

    Spoiler: Video

I know this isn't popular with everyone, but LADIES FAVOURITE Sakis singing an uptempo club number complete with magnetic shoes and a giant disco stapler certainly does it for me.

    72. Anjeza Shahini - "The Image Of You"

    (Albania - 2004)

    7th in the final

    Spoiler: Video

Before Albania lost the plot and started sending shouty women singing songs without melodies, they proved they didn't need to try so hard and could still do well with dated trash like this! Anjeza was Albania's debut entrant in the 2004 contest and had not only a dashing pale pink dress tinged with grey for the semi finals, but a fetching red and black number saved for the final. People call Anna Begendahl goat woman, but Anjeza is the original and the best.

    71. Belle & The Devotions - "Love Games"

    (United Kingdom - 1984)

    7th in the final

    Spoiler: Video

An entry dogged by accusations of cheating (the two girls that aren't Kit Rolfe didn't have their mics turned on) and surrounded by negativity and boos in the hall thanks to English football fans' behaviour a couple of months previously in the host country of Luxembourg, this is an oft overlooked joy from the UK's glory days of Eurovision.
