Other death today include the man who invented the chopper bike and the drummer from Crowded House.
Yesterday we lost the first producer of teletext.
Radio 5 Live used to broadcast a brilliant obituary programme called 'Brief Lives' which was based around the life (and death) of lesser known names. I used to listen to it every week and the deaths of these people would have been reported in that programme. I miss finding out that people like these three you mentioned have died... people who may not be household names but who made a mark in their own way.
