Fantasia's Summertime is still the best reality tv performance to date.
Jordan has a good voice in an undeveloped Disney Princess kind of way. It's very sweet and sugary but doesn't have much soul. I agree that it lacks depth.
The moment was nice though.

the best song wasn't a single
At first I wasn't sure why she was picking IWALY, she's got a great voice but I always pegged her as a great pop singer than a real FORCE vocally. But she performed it beautifully, gorgeous vocal runs and she absolutely "stuck to the melody", her transitions were not perfect but she definitely delivered her own little moment there.
I didn't like Fantasia's first album much, but the other two are great. Even Angels is a great pop ballad and it's a shame it never took off.
Even Angels was the soundtrack to my favourite lip-sync duel from RuPaul's Drag Race season 3.
Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?
When I See U, Hood Boy and Even Angels are her 3 maxest (and indeed only max) tracks

I've never got into FANNY to be honest
The only thing I remember about her from the last few years was that Idol perf where she came back to do her new single and Simon sat there AGOG
FEARLESS FEMALE
She sang Bore Me (Yawn), which is actually a great song but I imagine came across as a bit jarring if that performance was the first time you'd heard the song.
Fantasia Top 10:
1. Even Angels
2. I'm Here (from The Color Purple...she has a recorded version on Back to Me)
3. Bore Me (Yawn)
4. Falling in Love Tonight
5. Truth Is
6. I'm Doin' Me
7. When I See U
8. Hood Boy
9. Man Of The House
10. Collard Greens and Cornbread
HM: Baby Makin' Hips, Baby Mama
My favourite thing about Fanny is probably Wendy Williams' deep rooted LOATHING of her
