It's bizarre that it's not on the Greatest Hits though.
Looks like there IS a new single called "Time Bomb" with another "Tweet To Unlock" thingy going on about it...

*MUCH EXCITE*
It's been too long, it's been too long...
It's bizarre that it's not on the Greatest Hits though.
It unlocks at 7 in the morning? Random
Still on board, been having a Kylie revival these last few weeks![]()
kyoko, it's me
She's on The Voice this week and Alan Carr next week so something is obviously happening (other than the dire Best Of which she can't be promoting, surely?).
Isn't it Cheryl on the Voice this week?
Which means Kylie must be on the final?![]()
Do they have TWO musical performances usually?
Apparently they're both doing it this week.
The BBC press release at the weekend:
It is the eliminations again and this time there is more at stake than ever… a place in The Voice UK live final. Eight artists remain, but only one artist from each team will make it through.
As the drama unfolds, international superstar Kylie Minogue and pop princess Cheryl Cole will also be performing exclusively in The Voice arena.
After tomorrow night’s latest live show, which will see Team Danny and Team Jessie’s artists perform for the second time, only two singers will be left in the four teams.
They’ll all perform together for the first time next Saturday, where just four will make it through to the final, where they’ll go head to head to win the show.
The Voice UK continues on BBC One, Saturday night at 6:30PM.
Tomorrow night’s results show will see a performance from Paloma Faith.

I wonder if one will be on the Saturday night and one on the results show
Will she be the sole musical guest with cheryl also performing?!
I can't fathom that the GH is anything more than a straight to mid-price supermarket shelf-filler. There MUST be something more substantial coming.
Fairplay to her for keeping it under wraps until the last minute if so, though.
It seems odd to me if the new GH is straight to mid price, considering it has been relatively well publicised. You don't usually get that for titles intended straight for the Tesco trolley.
But then it also seems odd to be having a new single with promo as good as you can really get these days, and then NOT bunging the single on that album.

Yeah but the tracklisting is dire, it's completely uneccesary and this new track isn't on it.
It just seems like promoting it as a "proper" Kylie release could only do more harm than good. It isn't even a seasonal stocking filler, it's just being BUNGED OUT.
Could be a hoax but this was taken from a Casting Call website about the promo she shot recently in Soho:
Type - Music Video
Project - Kylie Minogue - Timebomb
Production Company - RSA/Black Dog Films
Director - Christian Larson
How could a GH "do more harm than good"? People don't CARE that much
It's like when the queens lost their shit over the GHV2 liner notes
FEARLESS FEMALE
The new compilation is mainly for the upcoming Jubilee thing that she's doing though (and maybe the PWL concert, if she's taking part).
The Leos Carax film (that she stars in) is screened in Cannes this week so the Alan Carr guest spot could be to promote that (she isn't listed as musical performer on that show). Her performance on The Voice might just end up being some sort of medley.

Ok, a bit of insider information posted on Say Hey. Should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.
Anyway it is that the final edit of the video has recently been completed and "Time bomb" is indeed the title of the new single and is described as an offbeat electro dance track.
She's also recently recorded a song called "Who Were We" written by Leos Carax and produced by Neil Hanon which I can only assume is for the forthcoming film.

Writers confirmed: Paul Harris, Matt Schwartz and Karen Poole (). All three have re-tweeted the tweet-to-unlock thing.
Officially goes to radio tomorrow.
Let's hope it is as amazing as All The Lovers
FEARLESS FEMALE
Well I hope Karen can POOLE something out the bag. She fucking needs it - I remember when I used to be obsessed with her co-writes. She used to be the number one go-to for acts that couldn't afford American producers.
Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?
So this isn't on the greatest hits, and there's no mention of a new album? How curious.
I've heard that it's really great, but it's not an All The Lovers style comeback - very much seems to be testing the waters...
As in, trying to gauge whether it's a good direction for the album?
kyoko, it's me
Yeah, I think so. That's the way it seems to me anyway, but maybe it is just a bit of fun to release a single without any pressure.
Wasn't the idea of this K25 thing that it was a whole year of special things? So presumably there is more stuff to come. What is supposed to be happening with all the Abbey Road material?
I think there's an Abbey Road album planned to coincide with her Proms performance.
There are also murmurs that she wil be vocalist on the next Swedish House Mafia single.
JUST GIVE US THE ANTI-TOUR DVD.
Trying stuff is probably the best bet for her at this stage in her career. An untested album probably won't work and she has nothing to lose in trying stuff out... I welcome ExperimentalreleaseKylie.

Video is being serviced to music video channels tomorrow as well. Interesting strategy.
INTERESTING.
I think I will like this. I get 'Speakerphone' vibes in that it sounds a bit "wtf" the first time but I think with repeated plays it will make MUCH more sense. It does sound like it's trying to be very current, but it mostly succeeds and doesn't leave her sounding like she's desperately chasing a sound that totally evades her
