Ellie, Britney's reaction was to Fifth Harmony getting through

From seeing her, what utter bollocks. And for Britney Spears of all people to advise her to play the piano to impress people by showing her musical abilities only for her to play about 8 notes before getting up to wail away and abandon the melody is a BIT RICH.
That whole time when she said "it'll make her much more respected in the industry", I just thought then why don't YOU ever bother with the piano anymore?

I'm quite happy with the top 3, Fifth Harmony doing "Anything Could Happen" was fabulous. I love that Britney seems so averse to them though

I LOVE any moment where Britney gives a look of waking up from a five year COMA with a "where the FUCK am I" expression on her face

You can trust that her dosage was most certainly UPPED after this incident.

"She's actually EMOTING, we can't have THAT!"

I'm surprised the walking Abercrombie and Fitch ad band got eliminated, they're the only ones I know and they seemed like they were prepped for the win.

So Simon is after Rihanna now. Surely he needs to realise that if Britney can't save it then no one can.

Surely he should have learned from Nicole that it doesn't matter how big the star is, it's more about how good they are on TV.

I dunno. It wasnt do much that Britney didn't help, it's more than Britney has added fuck all to the show. She's USELESS. I doubt Rihanna would be that lifeless and dull as a judge.

Indeed. Even though she was the worst performing mentor, I think Demi has been pretty alright. Compared to Britney anyway! I'm glad LA is leaving. He's such an annoying CUNT.

Britney has been fucking awful on this. God forbid she actually shows an ounce of feeling toward her acts, or anything about the show period.

I loved when she was critiquing the girlband this week and her way of showing support was:

"I just love the fact that you're like, you know, inspiring girl power. It's really interesting..."

    *blank stare*

Demi seems slightly better, I agree. She makes good points from what I've seen and has a personality at least, even if she didn't actually do too well as a mentor.

The Fifth Harmony duet makes sense in that it was their best performance (other than last weeks Anything Could Happen).

I bloody hope they win it but as that isn't probable I am rooting for Carly. It would make more sense in the context of the show and who it is aimed at.

Was Leann Rhymes always this bad?

Just about every comment on Twitter about the performance seems to be calling Leann a drunk.

That duet is honestly one of the worst things i've ever heard on a tv singing show. Excruciating.

I haven't watched it yet but she slurs her words a lot during live performances and her nose always sounds clogged up. It's especially noticeable on up tempo. Usually the actual notes are on point though.

She seemed to be severely off tempo and her mumbling/singing of the song was incoherent most of the time.

The 5th Harmony and Demi duet of "Give Your Heart a Break" was quite good on the other hand:

'Give Your Heart A Break' really is a fucking fabulous pop song. Hollywood Records better try and make it happen in the UK *releases March 2015*

LeAnn is usually a brilliant live vocalist. What the fuck was wrong with her? The way she was pronouncing the words too. STRANGE

Could Fifth Harmony pull it out the bag?

They hands down won the night, and I don't really know how well Ellie Goulding was doing prior to their performance last week but Anything Could Happen seems to be taking off in America now as well. I also noticed Demi's Give Your Heart A Break seems to have rebounded on iTunes as well.

I love how LeAnn's response was she was singing the song not the way she normally would but because Carly was so nervous and she was trying to help her. Funny that, because she probably killed her chances of winning the competition by doing her best impression of a goat.

In my 18 years of performing, I have never been anything but professional onstage. It is a shame that gossip and lies are overshadowing the performance of Carly, a very talented young girl.

And while I have not given any media outlet a quote, if you want one, here it is “It was an amazing opportunity to share this experience with Carly and I know I’ll be watching for her to win tonight.

Leann is really HORRIBLE at PR.

I saw a 90 minute interview with her on E! the other day and it was very much a full block of WOE IS ME ("I was the breadwinner!", "I was so scared to do something that I wasn't PERFECT at! (on acting)" etc etc).
