LA makes Britney look BEAMING with charisma. Obviously you can't have THREE women on a panel but keeping him and ditching Paula was not the best idea

Oh dear, AWFUL dress that does absolutely nothing for her shape and makes her look about 70, not a fan of the make up either... the hair is a nice-ish change though, very "Circus" video

Oh my god, DON PHILIPS (he did a duet, "I Will Still Love You", with Britney on her debut) auditioned for X-Factor with Britney on panel, came out of the closet, accused Britney of convincing him to stay in the closet and then apparently did an awful audition
some of the audio here:“I never thought I would see you again”
So then the judges, myself, and much of the crowd think he is talking about her breakdown so everyone flips shit but then Britney says “please dont cry” followed by “no no no its okay its because we did a duet together about 10 years ago” and then she says his name, so at this point I’m just like
So then he talks about how he has been a backup singer and how he wasn’t himself when he last saw Britney and how the past 10 years have changed him blah blah blah
LA Reid asks him how he has changed or why he is different.
The dude comes out of the closet and says he is gay and the crowd claps.
He then says that he didn’t do it before because his parents thought it was bad to be gay and that Britney also thought that it wasn’t good for him to be gay.
THEN IM LIKE WTF!!! YOU MOTHERFUCKER
I look at the little camera screen and I see a close up of Britney’s face like wtf?! and shes like “no no I didn’t say that”
and then LA Reid stops her and tells him that he has made her really uncomfortable and he needs to stop speaking, Simon follows up and basically says the same thing and tells him he needs to shut up.
The crowd tells him to sing a song, chanting. Finally he sings and he is horrible.
While he was performing Demi leaned over to Britney to probably ask her about the situation and they started whispering for like 20 seconds and probably exchanged the story on the situation.
He finished his audition and when its Britney’s turn to comment she says
“I feel that you’ve been a lot through the past 10 years but I believe that you could’ve prepared better for your audition and practiced more on your vocals” something along those lines but she said it very nicely and respectfully
FLAWLESSLY HANDLED. Everyone started clapping.
I still can’t believe this happened. I was so pissed for the rest of the auditions but

I love that she's worn that same dress about six different times in varying colors.
Great hair and make up though, especially compared to the California auditions. By the live shows I'd like her to go back to the light brown color she had during some of the Onyx Hotel Tour.

Was Tulisa really a breakout star though? I'd say she's only marginally famous than she was before. Dannii and Cheryl completely took their stars to the next level as a result of X.
I'd say Tulisa's on the same level Dannii was after her first year in 2007.
I'd say she is probably verging on C list now whereas before she was definitely D list. She would definitely have not had a #1 single if it wasn't for X. N-Dubz were never THAT big...
Dannii and particularly Cheryl were much more famous when they joined the panel. Having a famous sister/football husband helped too, whereas all Tulisa has is Dappyand her sex tape!
I'm sure Demi's under strict orders to look a mess at all times, she never used to dress like a fraggle.
I think today is the last of the auditions and they're in North Carolina (the pic on the far right was day 1 of NC)

I love how her dead legs give way and she has to sit back down. Or maybe LA distracted her with smarties.
