”Go around, we're recreating a faux pas'”
Don't matter if I FALL from the SKYYYY
I'm in love with that bit! And the "hammertime, hammertime" on repeat in the second chorus. They are saying 'hammertime', yes?
It's blatantly going to be a MASSIVE hit. The only thing I'm not fussed on is the never ending clapping, but it's great.
Perfect for a live première too.
I really like it. It's a bit BUSY, but I'll get over that the more I hear it I think.
The prospect of Amelia Lily knocking them off #1 after just a week is too much![]()
It's like you're screaming . . . and no one can hear;
you almost feel ashamed . . . that someone could be that important
This may be the third greatest girl group single of all time.
okay I love the clapping now.
AMAZING
and Lou I love conceptina almost as much as I love you but let's be honest, this song would not have worked for her
This track is all about the GIRL GROUP HARMONIES
I'm already preparing myself for the life changing live VOX + HAND CLAPS moment![]()
Funky is gonna lose his shit over the horns.
And rightly so, it's really rather good.
Nothing to see here MOVE ALONG.
They're on the Vodafone Music T4 Sessions Stage today at 15:05.
What's THAT THEN? The ACOUSTIC BORE STAGE?

”Go around, we're recreating a faux pas'”
I've just listened to it.
I don't like it and I hope it somehow misses out on being #1.
A normal person must
Dismiss you with disgust
And weep for those who trusted you.
It's his anthem for all the HATERZ
”Go around, we're recreating a faux pas'”
Oooh I really like the claps going through this. It's really bugging me though because there is something else of a similar tempo with a clapping sound throughout as well and I can't think of what it is. I can just imagine myself dancing to it.
Oh this quite splendid. I am relieved.
I love it too. Especially the "and we don't let nobody bring us down..." bit!![]()
Was that all live? Those harmonies were TIGHT AS!
Backing track on the chorus? Bit of Adlibing over?

WE DON'T LET NOBODY BRING US DOOOOOOOWN.
This is going to bring the house down in high quality.

'Sue, did the President call?' ... 'No' Last.fm
Just watching that now they did a great job, Perrie's ad libs near the end would be nice on the studio version but those harmonies are FAB.

I don't really like it
I just don't think it's good enough really, and definitely not the big unique statement of intent single (with a chorus so massive it could eat you) that i was hoping for/sort of anticipating. I mean WHERE'S the TUNE? (answer: half-formed, messy, and buried under some fucking clapping).
It feels more like what i'd have expected Marcus Collins to end up lumbered with, AND like it's been assembled by a committee to make sure young girls like them. I mean did anybody want another glib 'mama told me' empowerment song?
5/10 so far, but i'll try and force myself to like it because they're clearly marvellous. I really can't see it winning many new fans or being particularly huge right now though. SAD TIMES

I'm not sure about TP's new 'piss on your chips' persona![]()
"The few who understand me and learn from me will be wise beyond belief" - Lauren Harries
that really was a depressing review
so far I'm not MAXING for it but it's good enough for me. I'm liking the focus on the VOX more than anything else. It leaves me with HOPE for more of the same on the album
It needed more than a football team to write something like THIS. LOL
