I watched a trailer the other day for this console. I was astounded at several moments. Which means I'll buy it in about 5 years time.
Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?

Meh, I'm happy it exists but I can't say I was interested in the design at all.

    It's no Gamecube controller anyway

HATE New Super Mario but that map has a bit of Mario World about it

The redesigned tablet is looking brilliant. Thank god they went with sticks over the 3DS slide pads.

I watched the conference last night as I was travelling when it happened - what a disappointment. Very little of actual interest to me. Let's see if the 3DS conference today improves on things, although what I saw of Luigi's Mansion 2 last night didn't exactly win me over... and Paper Mario, cute and funny as I know it will be, looks EXACTLY the same as the last two. They really need to start thinking a bit more outside the box.

The stilted and scripted presenters was probably the worst offender - can they not get someone GENUINELY FUNNY or that can adlib for a couple of seconds? Or at least someone who cares about games? Reggie has always been bad at this, but the new guy who came onstage to present the 3DS games was so AWFUL I felt sorry for him - you could tell he didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. The only person who clearly loved what he was doing was Miyamoto and fair enough as Pikmin looks nice (although nothing we haven't seen before).

WTF is NintendoLand? ANOTHER mini-game franchise. It HAS to be a pack-in game or they're seriously taking the piss.

Wasn't it confirmed that Retro would be showing off their game?

New Super Mario can DIE IN A FIRE.

Thank god for the 3DS and the new Castlevania.

(You know I'm still WiiU Day 1 though)
