I almost think YouTube streams should be counted, if you could stop mental fans from repeat viewing for hours on end
I mean when you buy the video you are effectively buying the song with a visual so why shouldn't it count? I'm sure it does in certain other countries too.
kyoko, it's me

FEARLESS FEMALE
I don't know why but I was under the impression that they were?
I think someone brought it up when the Peter Kay animated charity single was at #1 but ridiculously low on the itunes chart and someone mentioned that it was doing so well off the sales of the video - but I presume whoever it was just meant the physical sales (which I presume included the video)
It's like you're screaming . . . and no one can hear;
you almost feel ashamed . . . that someone could be that important
I voted no, but thinking about it can't actually think WHY, whoops.
I absolutely don't think youtube streams should be included though, as you aren't paying for them - even aside from the issue of loons playing them non stop.
'Sue, did the President call?' ... 'No' Last.fm
This was pretty much set to happen a few years back was it not? I thought the OCC had already decided they would count, it was only a year or so later that it was pointed out that for some reason it never actually happened
Where did my reply to this go? I have too many damn tabs open as ever.
I automatically voted no, but thinking about it with iTunes yes. Billboard also have a "Social" Top 100.
Things like this have been attempted before, Johnathan King () was appalled by how unrepresentative he felt the UK charts were and added in things like radio and video play to his rag Tipsheet, read by 12 people in the music industry.

Yes, but I don't think it's a pressing matter.
A normal person must
Dismiss you with disgust
And weep for those who trusted you.
J-Lo's ass would actually SWALLOW the charts and sub-charts for the next 3 years with On The Floor alone, DALE!
So yes obviously.
Reflected onto the wet pavement, can you see what I see?
