That's impressive - I'm translating random phrases I pull out my arse for my work colleague, and I also just did 'How I Roll'.

Afternoon all, I got quite a bit of stuff moved this morning but need to do more later - need to wait because I can't dismantle the PC yet, thanks to some RUDE VILE PIG customer at work wanting a thing tomorrow morning so I have to spend hours fiddling about in indesign on my bloody DAY OFF

i've already passed the first part of my migration to Australia, having passed their skills test. I'm coming after delirium, he had the right idea. The main reason genuinely is the weather - I actually can't take it anymore, it's completely handicapping a whole nation, and it just never stops. I spent formative years in Texas where it was just sunny all of the time, and that's how it should be. As a result i'm getting seasonal affective disorder from waking up and seeing the shitty misery that constant wind and rain is causing, especially bad in London where everyone already intrudes on your personal space, so having the weather stab you in the back too is just too much. I just want off this horrible little island.

Good luck Suomi My mum's just the same, I'd love her to come back over here permanently but when it's MISERABLE like this most of the time I can see why she wouldn't want to

I see what you mean, but surely if you settle in a country you should be allowed to say all the good and bad things about that country too? Otherwise it's a bit like saying they should be grateful that they're here at all, which isn't very fair, and a bit 'indigenous people'-esque, which makes me vomit.

Good and bad things, fine, but when it's JUST BAD... I find myself taking it personally. It's like if someone came into my house and said "Ugh what a SHITHOLE"

I've done crockery, cutlery, pans, towels, bedding and some small appliances like sandwich toaster, rice cooker. It's difficult to know what sort of price range to go up to. My boss said just put down things worth £400, if someone is stupid enough to buy it for you then more fool them

Took me ages to get to work this morning because they found a woman's body on the motorway at 2am so they closed it and also the bridge near me that goes over the motorway (I assume you can see "things" from it or they think she may have jumped off it) so all this traffic has been diverted to the streets. Now they're not reopening it until at least this evening so the journey home will be even worse because I'll be travelling in the same direction as all the diverted people.

That's my take on it too! If you don't ask, you won't get. Put a nice Le Creuset casserole dish on too, I wouldn't be without mine now.

    WELL...

We have, but we're also thinking of having an Amazon gift list because the same branded things are like 25% cheaper on there!

Take the chance to get loads of nice bedding and shit like that, new pillows, duvets etc, all stuff that lasts a while and is a bit of a burden to buy yourself.

They do nice picnic hampers in John Lewis as well.

Quite a few of the invites I've done at work recently have said stuff along the lines of "the only gift we require is your company, but if you want to PAY FOR OUR HONEYMOON we'd be very grateful". The cheek

See I find it a really hard thing. I do feel a bit like we're asking for stuff, but people have been asking me for a list. So it seems silly not to put down things we need (because we really do need everything!) rather then getting a load of random stuff

My sister asked for vouchers for the company who were doing their honeymoon to China. I'd much rather do that than be the person left with the £50 prezzies on the wedding list.
