Apparently the hospital don't give out notes of what patients have been in for which is annoying. But the police can request it. 5 hours and an X-ray at a&e and luckily nothing is broken.

She should get a discharge summary from the doctor of her stay in hospital, however brief. It will only state her injuries and treatment, not the circumstances surrounding how she got them, but if she presented it to the police it should be MORE than adequate
