Yes I realized this when I saw the last five threads were started by me and the forum itself tends to get about one post a week. But I figure we'll have a new album to talk about soon enough

I don't know what the Girlie forum has given us lately but it's worthy for the Rachey period thread alone. Gaming, Eurovision related forums, Dance, Tech Geekery, Steps, Sports, Cheap Seats, I never venture into, so all of those. Not to say that some have purpose.

I think most serve a great purpose - there's now so many that it takes ages to scroll down. The ones that are redundant are certain artist ones - I'm shocked that Britney cesspit is still here, though provided those mongs are away then fair enough.

Eurovision is this place's raison d'etre I guess. I think the Moopy Cemetery was genius but it has taken the fun out of doing Suzi Quatro-style deaths and is kinda morbid, but it was such a good idea.

And it's a pity Music For Gayers wasn't able to get a name change, it's impossible to think of one as well. It's unfair on acts like Saint Etienne who are really gay cult and their biggest fanbase before was NME indie kids who liked a bit of intelligent pop.

I'd be up for renaming Gayers to something that better encapsulates popular heritage acts like ABBA, Saint Etienne, Kim Wilde - who don't justify a forum of their own but do generate a bit of discussion and don't really fit in the classics/toilet forums.
